My kids and I were on Splash mountain when it failed. Due to the extremely dangerous situation where the drop was, they got to them first before the boats smacked into them. We were before the drop, so we were last. It was 40 minutes til we got released from the lap bar. However, they gave us a fast pass to any ride, no matter the line. They were very apologetic about it and was concerned more about the children's enjoyment than the adults, which was best, since kids sometimes do not understand that things do have problems.

If it was in 2012, I was on the ride too. Right at the alligator before the laughing place
there was an earthquake when I was in Disney land. I wasn't on a ride but I could imagine the panic of the rides when we left.

Kewlpai it was like 10 pm so they just evacuated everyone since they had to check the structural integrity of all the rides.

I got stuck on the Peter Pan ride one time so I called my friend and asked her if she was stuck too cuz she was in line behind me a ways back and she told me she wasn't on yet but to just get out of the boat and off the ride and I was like "yeah...i'll just...get out of the boat like I can actually fly"
and you would get kicked out because you would trip the security sensors

I was panicking cuz we were in front of the spiders and I fn hate spiders and my mom was panicking cuz we were upside down

Me and my family were doing single riders, so I was separated from all of them, and the ride broke down... The nice family next to me checked if I was okay, and I'm thankful to have been with such nice people, I would have had a panic attack... I was hanging from the seat, and trust me, it was not the most comfortable thing... The ride continued, but the screen was frozen, so I didn't see the part where they win the game. I had Ben on it once though, so it wasn't that bad. If I ever see that family again, I'll probably hug them
I was just there for a band trip! When ours stopped, about 5 dementors were really close to my face, several more just to the right where we came. No lights were on or anything, no motion. My friend said she could kick it in the face we were so close (it was where you dive towards it and pull away really close...We didn't get to pull away)

i've always wanted to evacuate on a disney ride (don't asky why). But thing is, i don't want it to stop in one of the rides with a ton of animitronics. (especially the realistic ones) such as Pirates', indiana jones, (i couldn't stand being in there if it stopped) or even for some odd reason, splash mountain.
Indiana Jones stopped on me once. The ride stalled at the part right before the boulder (the part with the spiders, if I remember correctly). We got stuck there for about 15 minutes between the time it took for them to realize something was wrong and the time it took to fix it. They had originally said they were going to evacuate us, but they ended up being able to fix it and resume the ride.
I can’t even go on pirates I’ll get scared of the skeletons I’m a scaredy cat and I know they aren’t real :p but I’m still scared
I went about a month ago to Disney and my friends and I were in a group. We went to eat dinner and all of the kids in my group (except one) went in Indiana Jones while me and the one other kid ate. After we ate, we did the usual and just walked around and went on like one ride and I got a text from the kids in Indiana Jones saying it broke down because a lady had a seizure or some crazy problem and they were stuck for like an hour. So life lesson- don’t go on Indiana Jones :)

I got stuck on Peter Pan last week at Disneyworld, it was right in the beginning too.
Space mountain is probably the worst, the tracks are so close and if the other cars don't stop in time someone could get seriously hurt.

I once had to be evacuated from goofys flight school, but I was on the incline of the hill, and when I was there, a cast member came and started talking to us. I was stuck with 3 random teanagers because they had there high school days at that time, and it was also a ride without head rests. So basically I was stuck on that ride for 50 minutes and we missed our fast passes to grizzly river run. It was also a very hot day.

I got stuck in the haunted mansion once at the part with the coffin that shacks for 5 mins it was scary.we didn't have to evacuate and they got the ride moving again.
i got stuck in the same ride and it was the part with the bride and the hatchet in the headless room.

I have gotten stuck on Winnie the Pooh ride and it would have been totally fine if it wasn’t at the dream part where there were shapes and colorful but for a kid my age ( the year it stopped at the dream area) it was sorta creepy
I personally think they’re should be a wonderland amusement park type thing. Where you can walk through wonderland, there’s rides, characters, there’d be a cafe where you can drink tea (and of course there’d be other things. There’d be unbirthdays all the time, you could play some croquet, honestly it would just be fun!

Ok One time I was on rock'n roller coaster with my uncle Steve last year and somebody had their phone up and started to record then somehow the ride did not go and the cast member on speaker told that guy that "no phones are allowed in the ride so put your phone away thank you."thank you cast member for noticing him with his phone up! God that guy is an idiot.
It's not breaking any rules at places like Disney unless specified. They're just risking their cameras and phones.
I'd say my only criticism here is it seemed to take a while for them to inform the guests that a staff member would come get them. where I work I've had guests cry because the train has to sometime stop shortly just outside the offload station if the train at load hasn't left the station quick enough (like if we have to recheck the lapbar or a guest is being a pain), for max a minute or two. I know it's difficult, so I'm not really faulting them, it's just a thought really.

I remember when I was in the haunted mansion and I got stuck on the bride part.
I went on the one in Paris and we kept being stopped. The worst one was when we went past the coffins and the skeletons were moving and reaching out. So creepy!

In Disney world when I was younger, my family and I got stuck on splash mountain ( an area before the large drop) for a long time so they had to evacuate us threw the backstage part of Disney. It was really cool getting to see what goes on behind the scenes and what's behind the park. We went behind all the rides and it was really cool, despite not being able to go on the big drop on sash mountain 😂
The every first school theater production I was in was Alice in Wonderland. I was the cat. Everyone in the show now basically LOVES alice in wonderland

Since my my grandma was handicap the workers at haunted mansion stopped the ride just so we could get in and off
Secondly, I got stuck on Pirates of Carribean during the storm for 40 min... On my first day there... The boats were bumping into each other.. There was 30 boats!! Then we had to wait ten min to get off the exit since we got free fast pass tickets

On the same day (three days ago) I got stuck on small world and haunted mansion!!! On small world it was creepy because all of the boats started bumping into each other and all the animatronic dolls were still singing and dancing. And then at haunted mansion, I got stuck in the "outside" part where gravestone where moving. But we where not evacuated the rides both continued after about five minutes.
Haunted Mansion ALWAYS stops lol. I've been on it sooooo many times and only like 2 or 3 times it didn't stop.

Sure. Just to be clear this was at Disney world not Disney land. So my mother and I went on the ride. We got through all of the drops no problem. We were near the end of the ride. We were past all of the animatronic animals and stuff, but not quite at the part where you get on and off the ride. We were between the two. I had been on the ride before, so I didn't think much of it the first couple of minutes waiting to get off the ride, but then they made an announcement that they were having some difficulties, but it was weird, because normally when this kind of thing happens they turn off the music and change the lights, but they didn't. So we were stuck sitting there for over 20 minutes just waiting for the ride to continue and listening to the ending part of Zip A Dee Do Da on a loop. Then the ride started back up and we got off a couple minutes later.

This reminds me of the time I was on the ride in Cadbury World, Birmingham in the UK. They stopped the ride to probably help a disabled person on. As a consequence we were stuck right next to the animatronic caramel bunny for about 10 minutes with her repeating her line every few seconds. Every time I see her I get reminded of that.
One time at animal kingdom we got stuck on Dinosaur right when the giant dinosaur pops out

Lauren, that's actually normal for the Haunted Mansion, that happens when people are getting out of the cars and to increase safety and decrease people getting backed up at the end they temporarily stop the ride to allow guests to get off and exit safely.

I got stuck on this ride once but my family was on the balcony part and we were stuck there for 45 minutes because no one could come get us. They then gave us a free pass to cut any line for any ride we wanted. We ended up riding the Matterhorn and got to skip a 3 hour wait-time.
I remember the Haunted Mansion ride stopped. And I was sitting between my aunt and my sister, I think I was like, 5 or 4 at the time? We stopped and had to deal with the bride talking for awhile on repeat, with the ax appearing on and off. I was scared af.
