My mom one time on April fools day said she had a flat tire and we had to walk to school. So we started walking and about a block down the road she pulls up and says April fools. I had forgotten about it so thank you for the memory. She passed away two years ago.

I did it during my school days, confusing evening with morning. I slept during afternoon time. Sun was setting but It appeared to me like sun was rising. I brushed my teeth and took a shower. I started wearing my school uniform. My puzzled sister interrupted me and asked me why I am wearing my school uniform. I told her that I am getting ready to go to school. She said that it was a evening time.

These are the moments your children will remember when they look back on their lives. My dad was not a clever prankster, but he was brilliantly irritating and funny at the same time. I miss him every single day.

The kids didn't know that L'Immigra is spanish for Immigration so I told them the true story of L'Immigra - how kids get home to find L'Immigra had taken their parents, how I'd been to the lair of L'Immigra and didn't know whether I'd escape or be dragged deeper into the depths never to be seen again. We'd built up trust over the years so they knew when I was telling stories and when every word I said was true. It scares them nicely on camps (tell us a scary story...but not _too_ scary!) and later on encourages critical thinking.

My worst April fool's prank was during the pandemic.
I literally forgot the dates and my friends told me that I was called by principal for some serious issue.
I was panicking that they even told me I was about get tc from the school.
When I went there , principal asked me what do you want and and I asked him "Sir did you call me "
He told "who are you what is your name?" I said "I don't know anything sir , my friends told me you were calling me".

You can practice. Start by getting up every 2 hours and carry a few kilo of potatoes around trying to get them to sleep. I recommend doing this for 4 weeks straight.
