Tbf the real Blackbeard was a hero for a bit. He was like Dr Jackal (Edward Thatch) and Mr Hyde (Blackbeard). Edward Thatch the man who freed slaves....... then he got syphilis which drove him insane..... becomes Blackbeard and puts fuse in his beard and lights it..... then starts selling slaves...... along with Black Caesar who’s also a freed slave 🤷🏼♂️

Notice how when he outwardly called Kenway a coward Edward, just turned his head, unfazed. When he mention the battle, unfazed. But when he said that he had hung his crewmates at the gallows, Edward forgets his plan and immediately go for the kill.

I would be scared if Connor had been a pirate with his crew, because he had a talent for sailing since he was 16 years old that not even his grandfather had at that age And above all for fighting, because at the age of 13 he defeated 6 very skilled Templar mercenaries equipped with swords and bayonets and sent for Achilles, and Connor with only Indian experience and equipped with a stone ax defeats them.

***** I loved the fact Edward was selfish. AC 4 was my favorite game, actually. I loved that Edward was a real person, not some honor-bound assassin, and that he developed gradually still into something beyond a pirate. Unlike in AC 2 where Ezio magically changed into a respectful assassin. Don't get me wrong, I loved Ezio Auditore's character, he just didn't have much development. But we all have different opinions, friend, and I respect yours.

If they're going to remaster Black flag, let them add online multiplayer in the open world with large amounts of players on each server.
I always thought Ubisoft not including an online multiplayer to Black flag was a huge missed oppertunity. (No I'm not satisfied with the online mode where you have to persue and kill other players in small maps in cities. It's garbage lol)

Honestly after seeing the Assassin's Creed movie released in 2016, I feel this 12 minute version was 240% better than the Hollywood edition. 3 Years earlier than the movie release and still better than what the "big screen" could produce. They should have just called Corridor to do the project rather than hand it to someone who probably has never even seen a Assassin's Creed game never mind playing one themselves. Hands down one of my favorite videos online, then again so far everything I've seen done by Corridor and the Sam and Niko Channel has been a favorite to me.

Personally I'd rather compliment and applaud the monumental effort and hard work that was put into this video rather then be upset over another CZcams change. I think this is one of the most professional looking web videos I've seen in at least a year, and I've been a big fan of Corridor Digital and FreddieW for quite awhile.

I have watched this countless times and I swear I love it even more every time, it is just so well done.
Somehow this 12 minute budget made fan film on youtube managed to be more entertaining and authentic than a major hollywood film. Amateurs are out filming hollywood with all their millions and I love it. These guys should be making movies.

yeah, they could get a lot done, but the difference in quality would be very small from this short, they will need a longer script, most of the money will go on the casting, props and food, say exploding a building would be done in CGI, but the money will be on the GreenScreening (if they will add actors into the scene). anyway, the way i see it, a bigger budget isnt what makes the movie, this kinda budget is just enough to make an absolutley great movie

Actually, If the real movie is paced like this, acted out like this, and shot like this.. it will be a pretty horrible movie and should go straight to DVD. This is a wonderful work based on their budget constraints and other considerations. But to say this is a quality worthy of an actual big budget feature is just wrong. I've no doubt that if Corridor digital were to be givin an actual blockbuster budget, they would have no problem creating an assassins Creed movie worthy of a big screen.

The sword fight between Edward and the Captain could have had more energy, this is just my observation though.

To be fair. The captain had a rapier, a sword designed for duelling, and Edward had 2 cutlasses, swords designed for quick slashing. Edward had to be careful as he was at a disadvantage in weaponry, and the Captain had to be careful because Edward had 2 weapons. Realistic duels were not that energy filled, as zipping and twirling around each other can easily result in mistakes.
That's the thing though ya gotta remember it's for entertainment, I would say duels were energy filled but they were also fast. When it comes to cinematography I think fights should be more drawn out and I also love to see creativity in how both fighters use the environment. I'm not saying the fight scene is bad they didn't have a lot of time to do it. Like if you watch the link fight that was made recently it was really good. I loved how they went down to using arrows as a melee weapon right before the fight ended, that was really well done. However, for this it just felt there was a lack of that fight nrg.
Lmao u gotta remember doe it's not a real duel, and the use of the weapon in this sense should be creative. If it was a real duel I wouldn't have said anything, as for energy I think it would be there but way more intense the fight lasting a few seconds not nearly as long as it did... but that's no fun, again u gotta remember i'm not saying it was bad i'm saying it could be better, it could have had more energy, more emotion to it.

This was a top tier film of one of my favorite series and my favorite game, it may have been posted a while ago but you have definitely earned a subscriber from me, keep up the absolutely amazing work!
I really feel sorry for the Captain, even though I'm supposed to be cheering on the "good guys" (the Pirates), since the Captain was beating Kenway in a fair fight until Kenway snuck those little blades in, and even after surviving a stab through the hand into the face and making it back to shore alive, he is still ambushed by the pirates and killed :(
