41:20 Leadership in the New Testament church was always plural, by a group of elders, never singular, and it was the corporate church body that came in agreement whenever important decisions were to be made. This is why Jesus called us the Ecclesia, which actually means a judicial body assembled together for the purpose of making decisions. It does not just mean the called out ones, as you may have been taught. We each have the Spirit of Christ within us, and those we think weakest are actually most necessary. The only singular pastor, or shepherd, is Christ. What he's asserting here is not supported in the New Testament.

Amen. I used to be AAFJ and you're right. I'm now reformed and go to a church with a plurality of elders. It's definitely more biblical and it guards against corruption. More importantly it recognizes Christ as the head of the church.

I enjoy pentecostal sermons but do not agree with the doctrine. I am Acts 2 :38 saved. They are the only religion that I know of that has salvation correctly but they chopped up the doctrine like the Nicalatens. I have yet to find a church that does not celebrate pagan holidays /traditions, that does not add /subtract from God's Word, and a church that truly teaches people from the pulpit. Some pentecostal churches have women preachers which is ungodly. Some churches have and encourage women to speak while the pastor is preaching at the pulpit, which is ungodly. I digress
