i've been watching all these different videos of yours, but it was the no hands makeup challenge video that made me realize what a nice natural person you are, and it was this video that made me want to subscribe. wow i think i've just found my most favorite youtube star ever.

Ohhh my gosh... Your "Draw My Life' video brought tears to my eyes... Especially the part of sitting down with your parents, having a discussion of what you should do. I'm so envious of you to have such loving and supportive parents Jen! You're a total inspiration to not give up and just live your dreams, rather than have a job in your major but something you're not happy with (sighhh). Thanks for sharing Jen! I got made fun of because of my height even this other short girl made fun of me, I asked her why she was making fun of me when she was short too she said it was because I was still shorter than her lol.

Just moved from Korea to the States to be with the love of my life. I was crying all day missing my friends and family... and my career back in Korea. Your and Wongfu's videos are always cheering me up. This one is truly one of the most inspiring!

I wish I could tell my whole life story with a happy voice, but it wouldn't be very authentic that way. Sometimes life is tough, and sometimes it's sad, but the difficulties and complexities and overcoming those hardships is what makes life unique and beautiful. It's also what brings us together because everyone's had hardships. Maybe the transition to sad voice would be smoother if we could draw for an hour instead of under 10 minutes. ;)
I just graduated from KU and I've moved out to California for an internship and it's just nice to see that someone else has had the same experience in a place I didn't expect. #rockchalk

As a professor and mom, I believe college is a wonderful way to go from adolescence to adulthood, particularly with parent's support because you have a safety net. Going from school to "real" life is eye opening, you realize how expensive things are and how to really make decisions in a huge world of possibles. Some know exactly what they want but for others, college provides so many options, it is really opening doors, the opportunity to think in new ways so you feel "lost" among vast choices.

am i the only one who cried? I know its meant to be a happy video, but the parts about not fitting in and being bullied really relates to me. When you talked about now knowing what you were doing is how i am now. I question my life everyday, but the way you found a happy ending from sort of what i am going through has inspired me to soldier on. Thank you :)

I'm so, so sorry that you had to go through something so traumatic. It's difficult and for the longest time I didn't see firetrucks and sirens the same way. All I can say is that with time, it will be easier to lift your head up. Stick close to the people who love you and don't be afraid to depend on them when you need it.
I am really touched by what you said about how you felt like you were taking someone else's dream away by staying at a job you didn't really like.
I loved your version of this tag! So many people who did the Draw My Life tag made it all about the sad things in life, and they were kind of depressing. But I liked how you didn't make this about all the sad events that happened in your life. You mostly focused on the positives.
If you can identify & love who YOU are, not by what others think or see but by your own acceptance, it doesn't matter what others think. Feeling different is in our own heads! We can't change anyone else, but we can change our thinking so it starts with us first. It definitely can get better. :)
That is so great how your parents were super supportive for you to live your dream! As a fellow API my parents did the best with what they knew and had....but they wanted me to be a lawyer, doctor or business person...in reality I am a creative person and am loving doing what I love doing....hair styling. It's great and super rewarding! It's all about taking advantage of the opportunities here in the US and getting to do what we love. Keep it up!!

Your story is so amazing! I'm currently a college student and it's amazing how it always seems like the worst, most life-changing stuff happens in college. That was the sweetest love story I have ever heard and it really made me smile. This week has been really tough for me. My tendon spontaneously ripped on my bone and was bedridden for a few days. I also found out my co worker/friend found a breast lump with skin changes which means if it turns out to be breast cancer, it's probably the worst of its kind and she is only 32. We are all anxiously waiting the results of the biopsy which won't be back until next week. Anyway thanks for the video!
