In this clip, Gilbert Arenas discussed Nike terminating their partnership with Kyrie Irving and why he thinks it was ultimately a hasty decision because he doesn’t believe his shoe sales would’ve been affected since kids mainly wear his signature shoe. Gilbert said if it doesn’t affect the bottom line then it shouldn’t be that big of a deal.
Facts. In every gym I go to, almost all the young hoopers wear Kyrie's

My daughter has been playing aau basketball for 5 years and all she wants to play in is kyries. At these tournaments it’s 60-70% of the kids playing in kyries. The man reason is price point, in big kids sizes they’re $110 and adults $130. KD shoes are $150 period and the brons are $200. Steph shoes are running around $150. Kyries are very comfortable and has some of the best traction of all the shoes and with it being $50-100 less it’s a win
Kd shoes used to be at that $115-$120 price point but that all changed ofc

Like Gil said, a vast majority of young hoopers wear Kyrie's. Go to any gym and see for yourself. The fact that Kyrie hasn't been playing as much recently never affected his shoe sales.
