On my 2007 Pontiac G5 coupe (2door) The door Lock switches were not working correctly! I grabbed new switches from the junkyard & it fixed it right up! I also replaced the passenger side door latch & I do not remember why. I HAD TO MOVE & LOST A LOT! now, the door locks are flickering mostly after starting the car! After I put it in gear, it stops. A bit of history.. I ran the codes & got a code for the range sensor (PRND) However, the transmission went out & I replaced it! The sensors on the new trans looked much nicer! I am still getting a code for the range sensor(PRND) & WHEN THE CAR US IN PARK, & I START IT, I HEAR CLICKING IN THE CENTER CONSOL SO, IM wondering if there is a sensor attached to the shifter or if it's the sensor on the transmission, or just faulty door lock switches?
I have a similar problem when I’m driving I hear the door trying to lock but won’t lock but are used to lock right after 30 seconds of driving. I did things that you did lock the car and check all around and everything seems to be locked but when I’m driving I hear it clicking and won’t lock. 2009 merc...gl450 😏
I have exactly same problem in my 2011 jetta... Right rear door lock does not lock and keep clicking during the drive. Feels as if its trying hard to lock but it does not. Only way to solve is to replace the door lock actuator
Having the same problem with my 2014 Passat tdi, driver door never locks,ive also noticed when I do lock the car with the remote button the indicators don't flash anymore, I'm guessing it's a notification to tell you the car is not properly locked
Good video but I put a new actuator in and it’s still not locking, on my 2012 VW passat passenger front door. OBD 11 and VCD says the same thing, Lock unit for central locking Implausible signal…. I have no idea where to look next
I have a4 my front door locks but the rest don't due to the snow how do I fix that I recharge battery then it work the stopped agian how do it fix it as anyone else had this trouble on A4 audi
Every Jetta that I’ve owned have had failures concerning the drivers door, if your car acts and sounds like it’s locked but isn’t then it’s almost certainly the drivers door lock actuator.
I scrolled over all his videos. He never posted a new video how he fixed this so just saving your time.

That's not clicking, that's buzzing. And there are people who are wanting to know about the clicking sound because the doors keep wanting to unlock.

I have a problem with locking but only using a key, so when I press lock it locks the car and instantly unlocks. Unlock button works fine.

It doesn’t seem to have interior manual locks in the back. That’d fix it. Do it manually …old school.

Have you tried a little WD40 on the locks? I had to lube them up this winter cause they wouldn't latch.
my jetta all the doors unlock but none of them lock and the key fob doesn’t do anything..do u possibly know what’s wrong
Same here with my 08. Plus the moon roof randomly tilts open when it’s supposed to be closed.
