- Lewis Hamilton showed the makings of a future Formula 1 world champion a very, very long time ago! Here he is with a Formula Junior Intercontinental victory in 1998, in which he started at the back of the grid but soon weaved through the pack to the win.

He always did the talking on the track. Once he crossed the line, he acknowledged the challenge from his rival. Then and now, still the same humble guy.. We won't see a driver like Lewis for a very long time. He is one of a kind! Such a pleasure to witness Hamilton's Career. He only has a few years left. Gotta appreciate this legend while he is still here..

Lewis Hamilton has always been a beast, the problem is that people think just because he’s in the best built car on the grid, he not a great driver and it makes me sad that all these knew F1 fans, particularly the ones that think max is the second coming of Jesus, they don’t know me Hamilton’s history, I mean forget his karting days, people are too near sighted to even remember what he did in F2... it’s annoying cause you have to have arguments or discussions with people who only understand F1 from when max verstappen got into it.
Mclaren driver since his 7, this kid was a gem on his own. McLaren will never ever never find a driver like this again.

I was at this exact event when I was 15, I got to watch the whole event from the sidelines, as I didn't make it past the first knock out stage. Great racing and no one knew then we were watching the making of one of the very best. Amazing day and love that track.
I thought when i saw this video “i will check the comments and imagine if someone was in the race with lewis and they were driving against the best driver of all time (in stats) and then i saw your comment and i celebrated because i actually found someone racing lewis but then you were on the sidelines and i thought you didnt race but then i saw that you got knocked out in the first round so funny and then i relised how cool it was that you got to see the best driver (by stats) race in a karting track infront of you haha.

Lewis is the greatest driver this generation will ever see.
I feel blessed to have grown up watching Schumacher in the Ferrari and now Hamilton. I will always love Schumacher, but quite incredible to have experienced these two in my lifetime.

Can we agree that Lewis is the greatest driver of his time? It's hard to pinpoint that one GOAT. It's just not possible to put Fangio,Clark,Lauda,Senna,Prost,Schumacher,Vettel and him in their prime in equal machinery to find out.

Racing against drivers 3-4 yrs older than him, and showing all the skills in his repertoire to win in a category where there is obviously no car advantage. Haters need to see the doc if they're still not convinced.

Very few drivers have had such a lethal combination of speed AND awareness. It's one thing to be rapid but its another thing entirely to keep your cool at all times knowing what's at stake. He's probably the most aware driver i've ever watched. He knows exactly how to pace himself in the moment which is why his mistake rate is so low compared to other drivers. From this race its clear to see that he's always had this awareness from a young age.
