Polish pistol based on the 1911, with some simplifications (eg: a linkless barrel design) and one of the few single action only pistols with decocker (the other one that I know of is the CZ 52). It was used by the germans in WW2 after they occupied Poland. They used everything that it was in 9mm PARA, and even rebarreled a bunch of Steyr-Hahn 1912 pistols from 9x23mm Steyr to 9mm PARA.

I see some confusion about the origin of the gun. It was a Polish design and made in Radom, Poland until 1939. Then Germans invaded Poland and took over the factory and continued manufacturing as Pistole 35(p). That continued until 1944. Germans made them also in Austrian Steyer factory.
Today Fabryka Broni in Radom, Poland makes short series for the collectors market from time to time.
The name 'Radom gun' is used in the US only. The correct name is VIS.
