Here is a tip for you good people dealing with this dreadful p0106 coming back. Check your intake manifold bolts, they may be loose. A loose intake manifold can contribute to a code p0106. Upon doing this, vlean inside the intake manifold, clean out your throttle body, clean out your hoses & check your intake manifold bolts.
    Throttle body - torx 30
    Intake manifold bolts - either a 6mm hex or a torx 40
    Clean with throttle/intake cleaner
For map sensor, clean with map sensor cleaner..could be bought at walmart.
Vlear out your p0206 with an obII reader.
Good luck and hope it helps you.

Quick question, you said the map sensor clamps when connected, when taking it off did you have to use a tool to unclamp or it pulls right off?

@@RBTheMechanic oh FYI. I was able to remove it without removing the throttle body. It was not hard. However. It had to come off. 2008 Jetta 2.5 l MK5. I had a break on the pigtail it had damaged the sensor. I finally Found the break and correct it with a ouch pin adapter into the old barbed and walla. Now I’m trying to figure out how the H ima get the this thermostat. Ima assuming ima have to take the whole manifold off it tucked in, I’m just about done. I need it get paid and this has been hell. Over all looking good I just hate the clips. Everyone is just seized, I have broken like 5 but spark plugs are in and it’s done. Many of my coil packs well 3 decide to break at the very end and I had to spend hours fishing the rubber out but I got it done and the others is also my throttle body is so clean you can eat off it. I should have it wrapped up pretty fast tomorrow and I also got the oils leak straight from the vacuum pump gasket, going smooth so just manifold thermostat and the temp sensor and out it alll back together. It should be fixed at the connection. I almost missed it but I caught it after one reassembly and take back alart there it was. Lose TB running against the thin 0.5 yellow white strip wire. That was the major issue. Video should post soon I can’t wait to get it done tomorrow. I’m beat .long day. Just need a couple things and the correct size tripped hex te fit inside the middle whole of the manifold. Should be fun. Jus my about something and I’ll keep you payed I am trying to have done by 4 pm tomorrow, should be no problem. was not easy though. Thanks again.
