  • Sorry this took so long! I filmed this in July but just didn’t have time to post.
Hello fellow adult skaters! This second episode is about the 3 turn. It’s super important to have strong edges before starting these. Not holding a back edge out of a turn is a sign of a new skater. We want to make you look like a pro!

Would you be interested in adult pairs videos once I get through the singles? Let me know in the comments:)

I actually like the term adults who became skaters because it is very different from skaters who became adults although both are counted as adult skaters.

I just found your channel and I love both videos you made for adult skaters. I'm an adult skater however I'm very dedicated, go to the rink almost everyday, have 2 coaches (one private and one for group practices) and am very competitive. I'm not sure if you intend to continue this video series, but I think my biggest issue are mental blocks/fear. There are other adult competitive skaters at my rink who mention they also suffer from mental blocks. It'd be awesome to have a video about that! Thank you!! :)

Metal block is huge and skating and yes adults do struggle with it more. I will do a video on that. 👍 I have an adult student I do a few things with because she has a big problem with that helpful they will help you too. I haven’t done a video in a while because I was more. Still at the same rink but a house move. I will get back on them soon. ☺️

This is actually a perfect video for the dedicated adult beginner, thabk you!!! This is exactly me, and finding this video was a perfect fit for what i needed help with lol!! Im training off ice and taking it slow, but I didnt realize my weak backward edges were the problem 😅 this video gave me so many useful things to work on!!! Only thing: I wish there were some slow-motion shots of your feet and hips as you move! It can be hard to observe the necessary weight shifting when all black legs move very fast! Thanks again for a very helpful video ❤
