@@void_missgraeny4062 I really like phone so far. The 4k screen, water proof (I dropped my last phone in tub while watching Netflix), refresh rate is noticable. Downside to VR is that it doesn't readily use Google dream, but does use Google cardboard. I hear there is a way to make it work though.

@@dustinpeloquin5678 The hardware is an improvement on paper. The software wasn't much of a focus. That is what I thought, but to each there own. But yeah, it does look odd.

Kind of a late reply but if you long press on the home screen it should display a "widgets" option where they have multiple to choose from. I use the AccuWeather app personally.

did I get a bad lcd? Yours has the usual blue tint to it when viewing off center. Mine is greyish yellow. Like it's stuck on "warm" mode.

I think that's a product of the Android Pie update your phone likely has. The phone in the video is on Android 8.1, which had that clock on the right.

I have issues in storage device... Even i moved the internal memory contents to memory card, the space on my internal memory still the same...
Try to clear cache on some heavy apps such as Instagram, then go to bin in photos and clear it since when you delete a photo it just goes to bin and it doesn't disappear from the device's memory

Does Razer phone 2 has built in screen recorder?
Probably not. For a decent screen recorder on Android though, I'd recommend Mobizen to you. I don't know if there's a way to record over ten minutes with it, but it is a great recording app for Android. I've even used it on my piece of crap Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge and it works fine for less demanding apps that I record. If I had more than 1.5Gb of RAM I'd definitely be able to record more intensive stuff so I know the Razer Phone 2 can handle it.
If you need a good video editing app on Android, I 100% wholeheartedly recommend Inshot. It is my favorite video editing app on Android. It's not quite as good as shotcut on Windows, but it is faster and simpler at the same time. As a matter of fact some of my CZcams videos were edited with Inshot. I don't even pay for the premium version

The Razer phone 2 I have is like my best phone because my first phone was the iPhone 5 yeah I know you can roast me in the chats but on to the razor though the only thing I really like about it is that the battery charging is so fast pretty much as soon as I plug it in the charger it's already at 17%

My razer phone 2 will stop responding once i lock the phone. I'll lock it & most of the time it'll just stop working & only way to make it respond again is waiting until it reboots or hard reset the phone. Anyone else having this issue?

No it is not. And in fact, they have this huge vapor chamber in the back. It acts like a big heat sink , that I'm sure will make battery swapping a real pain to do.. not to mention the speaker grills need to be taken off to get to the screws.. honestly this is going to be one of the harder phones out there to swap batteries unfortunately
@@Erikrcook not quite, the speaker screw removal was a thing for the razer phone that they fixed for this, however the battery is non removable, but not that difficult to replace once you open the phone, although you're losing any ip rating by doing this
Hey man, would you still recommend the razer phone 2? im going to trade in my note 8, and comparing prices and specs, the razer with 8 gb of ram and the 845 for 599 compared to the s10+ with 8 gb of ram but with the 855 seems like a steal considering the s10+ is 1000 dollars and probably not worth it. My note 8 i only had for a year and already has screen burn. -_-.

The razor 2 is the best I've had mine for a while and no gaming lags or anything like that and I played pubg with 4 fingers at a time with 8 g ram and 64 storage.

@@pathfinder5651 It is good. And I like it better than my S9. However there is issues with the speaker (cracking) sound. And the camera is not as good

@@WAAA51 I had too the cracking sound. Just go to Dolby Atmos and then turn off the bass Enhancer. It should be fixed.

the wireless charging ONLY works with the Razer charging stand. Retails for $99.99.
Nah it works with other Wireless Chargers too, but you have to set the bottom half of the phone on the wireless charger, not the middle like other phones, because the wireless charger on the phone is on the bottom half of the back of the phone
