    top video. just a humble contribution. 1-bissaka has been delivering better crosses than dalot this season. garnacho's goal of the season was the way it was because dalot had placed the ball off behind his shoulder lool. bissaka has actually improved his attacking output

    @Michael.Koulibaly Před 5 měsíci +1

    Just a random thought: What do you think of signing Juan Foyth? Not as a main starter, but someone to supplement the squad. His strengths and skillset remind me little bit of Pavard who we were linked with in the summer. Can play at full back or centre back, and is comfortable on the ball. Decent at progressing it forward and has the quality and versatility to invert from full back or play as a wide CB in a back 3. Wouldn't imagine him being too pricey either. Main thing for me is he suits the manager's philosophy more than AWB. Have a look at his fbref report.

    I’m not sure if I’d trust Shaw to be the backup LCB. Think it would be a good idea to bring in someone else who can play there and cover at LB when we want a more defensive option. Basically Simakan for the left side of defence. Really like Hancko or Hato from the Eredivisie. Love the other 3 signings you mentioned though, little worried about Frimpong defensively. He basically plays as a RW for Leverkusen.

    Too many players in and out. I think the key issue is midfield. Onana Dalot Todibo Martinez Shaw should be the back 5. I like aderabayo from Fulham and Lloyd Kelly from bournmouth on frees as tall ball playing home grown defenders if you want to move Maguire, Varane and Linedlof on. I'd be worried about Frimpong being well suited to the system he plays in and not able to translate this to United. As much of the budget as possible should go on two top quality midfielders. Only way I could see Frimpong being sensible is if mount is going to play off the right and drift inside constantly to make a 3241

    • @AtlantisFootball
      @AtlantisFootball  Před 5 měsíci

      @@AtlantisFootball Less so starters but two premier league quality players who fit the tactical system who if necessary could be moved on with ease in 2 or 3 years time due to the fees, their age, and the fact they're homegrown. There's absolutely no point buying a player like Simikan for £30m plus to be a backup when there's so much work that needs doing. Ten Hag only wants 1 right footed centre back so why sign two when you've already got two and you'd have to shift maguire/varane first

      @@AtlantisFootball The logic in keeping AWB is he is a RB first. He's just average going forward. That's not his game, its Dalot's. Which is why he starts. Bringing in Frimpong who is really a RW is just a stylistic signing. Replacing him only makes sese if it's someone like Dumfries or Mazroui who would actually improve on both ends of the ball. The midfield is incomplete.
    None of the present midfield players except Kobbie mainoo are press resistant, can't dribble, and except Ericson, ball distribution is bad. Bruno Fernandes has given the ball too many times when it was not required. He gets it right few times but majority times he loses the ball. Off the ball movements are worse. Once in a while they play good. But thats it
    Only Kobbie Mainoo can be called a midfielder in this team. They can't connect the defenders with the front line.
    Midfielders expecting defence to pass the thru ball and they are trying to score. Rather they need to come for the ball and pass balls to the wingers and striker to score. Best example is Scott Mactominay and Casemiro scoring more than strikers and Wingers.
    Manchester United have held on to inconsistent players for a long time.
    Ten hag is blamed a lot, but look at the experienced players in the side. Not one is consistent. Most give away the ball to easily.
    Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Anthony, Sancho, AWB, Dalot, lindeloff, Varane, Scott Mactominay. Pogba and Harry Macquire were continued to play despite inconsistent performances just becoz they cost the team a lot. But their impact was worse.

      Dalot is a better footballer Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the better fullback and defenders a whole. Dalot has middling speed, physicality and defending, but higher footballing, IQ and technique. On the other hand, AWB, this hacker is better physically he’s faster way better at defending more consistent, arguably and mediocre with football, IQ and technique, but also works hard and has better work ethic.
      All of that I need to get that means and attacks better. Also Dalot doesn’t have as higher the ceiling as AWB. Dalot is a player you do one for rotation for sale AWB, is someone who could become one of the best right backs in the world, the level of Kyle Walker/Trent, effect and argue better than Trent, because Trent isn’t as good as defending, but he’s a lot better at attacking their opposites

      @@MartialFitness656 nah mate you’re horrifically wrong here. AWB is never going to be an elite FB with his technical ability. Dalot’s ceiling is far higher than AWB
      AWB is even more positionally vulnerable than Dalot is. It’s literally just his 1 vs 1 defending which is elite.
      He’s not way better at defending, Dalot is just majorly underrated. Dalot also is a much more intelligent player and can play in multiple different areas of the pitch

    Wan Bissaka going nowhere, Dalot can leave so we can sign another RB to back up Wan Bissaka.. Followed by Maguire, Varane and Lindelof, I would sign Todibo, Inacio and Vanderson

    • @AtlantisFootball
      @AtlantisFootball  Před 5 měsíci

      Nah no way. Dalot has to stay ahead of AWB. Wan-Bissaka is just not good enough in possession for a progressive top side. I’d rather have Dalot than Vanderson and with Inacio I’d rather a right footed centre back because both Shaw and Todibo can play on the left

      Please AWB can go
      That guy doesn't have one ounce of positional awareness. Always gets cut in his blind side, aside one V one he has nothing to offer

      we have different opinions but i would rather have a top one on one defender in Wan Bissaka than an attacking Dalot..Vanderson clears Dalot on any aspect@@AtlantisFootball

      I like him (Kamara) he has lots of potential and fits great with Mainoo. However I believe Douglas Luiz currently is regarded as a world class number 8 still he may not be the best fit for ten hag and his system. But I do believe that if there is a chance then you have to go for Luiz and build and adapt your midfield around him and mole mainoo to work around him.

    Sell maguire, varane and lindelof. Evans will leave since he's on a short term contract.
    Bring in todibo and branthwaite and promote will fish and willy kambwala from the academy to the senior team.
    Start martinez alongside todibo as 1st choice cb pairing. Pair up branthwaite with fish and they'll be backup. Kambwala will be 5th choice if there's an injury crisis.

    Dalot is a terrible player! Honestly i wouldn't keep either one. But if i had to, id keep AWB ahead of Dalot. At least AWB does what he's good at very well. People think Dalot is this good attacking FB, when in reality his attacking output is actually criminally poor. He can't actually cross. His runs forward hardly ever produce anything. He and Antony just keep faffing around that right wing, thats why our forwards arent getting any supply. He needs to go asap!

    • @AtlantisFootball
      @AtlantisFootball  Před 5 měsíci

      🤣🤣🤣 what you watching, Dalot has been excellent this season. His crossing is far better than AWB’s and his runs forward produce a lot more than AWB’s.
