The sonics in the older mpcs just hit so much better then the newer ones. I recently sold my mpc one, but I might buy an older one... Possibly either a 2009 or 3000. Whilst the newer ones have nice features for ease of use there's just something different in the converters they don't bump as hard.

What resources did you use to learn how to use the MPC? Just purchased a MPC 2000 and am finding it hard to learn how it all works.

is it a specific reason you use the older models instead of the mpc one/live 2 or just personal preference?
I just prefer the workflow the new ones feel like using a Daw so I’d rather use FL

What does this give you over an MPC one+ for example? I want to get into pad drumming.
It’s not what it gives you it’s what it takes away and what that will inspire. It’s absolutely inferior in almost every way to the new models except perhaps that analog 16bit sound that it gives everything. I just prefer the old school workflow sometimes
@@ProdbyJack Fully understand what you mean. When I look at my massive collection of vsts or drum kits, I sometimes think of the times where my once limited collection forced me to either put more effort or inspired me to make something different.
