Goodness gracious, the music in this is absolutely AMAZING, especially the Australian track (in reality, the Adelaide Street Circuit). It simply gives you the feeling of a great sense of speed while facing tough challenges ahead of you, as the corners are very tight with no room for error.
Yeah, I'm really glad that Sega didn't feel the need to add a voice saying "Slipstream" when you slipstream a car in OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast. The later Super Scaler games are really impressive, it almost makes me wish Sega would have continued putting them out in arcades beyond 1995 (in addition to games with true 3D CGI graphics, I mean, not instead of them).

@@folkenhellfang9468 It was not uncommon to restrict arcadegames to different regions (N.A/S.A/Eur/Oc) due to having different importers. That said, only 150 machines was made of this game, maybe SEGA didnt have more leftover systems to sell...

+edzvision True, much like Boss Studios' Stunt Racer 64. They had hardly any confidence with that title that it was limited to Blockbuster rental only. A real shame.
Given the processor power, how about the 32X? Games like this would have saved it for sure. Certainly, more System 24 and 32 conversions would have been welcomed at the time.
To make matters worse, even the arcade version had an EXTREMELY limited release in only South America and Central America. Here's to hoping Capcom releases another Capcom Classics Collection with this on it so many people can enjoy it.

this graphics engine is wasted with the poor gameplay. one of the more convincing sprite scaling racers. had to laugh at sydney opera house in the adelaide track though.
