“Rising Strong” SSAATTBB a cappella arrangement by Lawrence Laureano

The inspiration of this song comes from the book “Rising Strong” by Brené Brown. At the back of the book she wrote a manifesto entitled “the manifesto of the brave and broken-hearted.” When I read it for the first time I was deeply moved by it. It resonated so deeply that it became a spiritual reminder for me of how important it is to be vulnerable, to have courage, to never be afraid to lean into pain, and to own our stories.
This manifesto reminds us of our worth as beings and the profound love and courage we all possess. I am grateful for her team for allowing me to use her words as the lyrics to this song. My deep gratitude to you Brené Brown.
