    The Bhagavad Gita or the Gita Saar is widely revered as one of the greatest jewels of spiritual wisdom in the history of humankind. Bhagavad means “of God” and Gita means “song.” Hence, the Bhagavad Gita literally means “Song of God.” It describes the divine dialogue that took place between the Supreme Lord Shree Krishna and his devotee Arjun on the battle ground.
    Unable to deal with the immediate problem at hand, Arjun approached Shree Krsna for a palliative to overcome the anguish he was experiencing. Shree Krishna did not just advise him on his immediate problem, but digressed to give a profound discourse on the philosophy of life. Hence, the Bhagavad Gita imparts, above everything else, Brahma Vidyā, the science of God-realization.
    Bhagavad Gita describes clear-cut techniques for implementing its spiritual precepts for everyday life. Hence, the Bhagavad Gita is also called “Yog Shastra,” meaning, The the scripture that teaches the practice of Yog.
    In this series, Swami Mukundananda reveals the original meanings of the Bhagavad Gita Quotes, Shlokas [Chapter 7, Gyan Vigyan Yog, Yog through the Realization of Divine Knowledge] with crystal clear explanations and perfect logic.
    In this episode Swami Mukundananda continues with the explanation of 3rd verse of Chapter seven of Bhagavad Gita.

    Swamiji explains very nicely in this episode that very rarely a soul will get the human body,So needs to know the proper utilization of it.
    This is the central idea of the Gita -- to be calm and steadfast in all circumstances, with one's body, mind, and soul centred at His Feet!

    Of all the different things that I am learning from Swamiji, one of the most difficult things is to continue to do the karma to fulfill worldly obligations but not be attached to the outcome. He says that by developing a deep seated hunger for God realization through love and knowledge.

    The 3 graces of God are very rare. The first is the human birth, because the soul is rotating in 8.4 million lifeforms. The The 2nd grace of God is hunger for self-realization and god-realization. The third grace of God. What was the third grace of God, anyone remember? I was thinking of the Yogi's who had to learn all this knowledge after hearing it only once... I can only imagine how deep their hunger for divine knowledge must have been and how many austerities they must have undergone. The third very rare grace of God is the opportunity to get the guidance from a true God-realized saint. We have received all 3 today. We are beyond fortunate. Radhey Radhey...

    Most people don't realize it, but every human being is blessed with at least 1 divine gift from God, through which he/she can progress further towards their own well-being. Swamiji explains the 3 gifts of God - human birth, thirst to know God, and association or guidance from a true God realized saint. Very nice lecture.

    In this discourse, Swami Mukundananda Ji is enlightening the souls by imparting the profound knowledge of God-realization. He beautifully explains in detail that three kinds of Graces are needed to attain God-realization or Self-realization. Swamiji is mentioning that we must constantly endeavor for the perfection in our sadhana if we are to succeed in the path of spirituality. Spiritual aspirants must watch this lecture!

    In this chapter Swamiji describes the three types of graces that the Lord has bestowed upon us. As per Shri Shankaryacharya, the first grace is giving us the human life form, the second grace is the hunger to seek self- and God-realization, and third grace is the opportunity to receive guidance from a God-realized saint or Guru.

    • @debasmita7708
      @debasmita7708 Pƙed 8 lety

      Yes, that is the main message; but most people fail to understand the very first grace, i.e. blessing to receive a human form. We fail to understand the importance of a rare human birth and take it for granted. After all, a handful of soil contains billions of living microscopic organisms!!! What to speak of the whole earth!

  • @debasmita7708
    @debasmita7708 Pƙed 8 lety

    Even after receiving the three greatest blessings from the Almighty, what is the reason that only few people stay committed to the path of perfection? I guess there must be multiple factors one of which has been discussed in this lecture, i.e., we don't value these! We take all these three greatest blessings for granted.
