The Bhagavad Gita or the Gita Saar is widely revered as one of the greatest jewels of spiritual wisdom in the history of humankind. Bhagavad means “of God” and Gita means “song.” Hence, the Bhagavad Gita literally means “Song of God.” It describes the divine dialogue that took place between the Supreme Lord Shree Krishna and his devotee Arjun on the battle ground.
Unable to deal with the immediate problem at hand, Arjun approached Shree Krsna for a palliative to overcome the anguish he was experiencing. Shree Krishna did not just advise him on his immediate problem, but digressed to give a profound discourse on the philosophy of life. Hence, the Bhagavad Gita imparts, above everything else, Brahma Vidyā, the science of God-realization.
Bhagavad Gita describes clear-cut techniques for implementing its spiritual precepts for everyday life. Hence, the Bhagavad Gita is also called “Yog Shastra,” meaning, The the scripture that teaches the practice of Yog.
In this series, Swami Mukundananda reveals the original meanings of the Bhagavad Gita Quotes, Shlokas [Chapter 7, Gyan Vigyan Yog, Yog through the Realization of Divine Knowledge] with crystal clear explanations and perfect logic.
In this episode Swamiji continues with the explanation of verse 14 of Chapter seven of Bhagavad Gita.
दैवी ह्रोषा गुणमयी मम मया दुरत्यया ।
ममेव ये प्रपध्यन्ते मायामेतां तरन्ति ते ॥
My divine energy Maya, consisting of the three modes of nature, is very difficult to overcome. But those who surrender unto me cross over it easily. ||14||

Such a mind-blowing lecture! No matter how many times I listen to it, It appears as if I am listening to it for the first time. Wow, thank you, Swamiji.
Jai ho Gurudev 🙏🙏

Jsk most inspiring lecture ever can feel the closeness of shri Krishna Radhe Radhe 🙏🌈
In this lecture Swamiji explains six types of surrender. I always like it when I hear from Swamiji about surrender. Swamiji tells story about one sadhu, it is really nice and inspiring.
with humorous Examples of a Sadhu( An Ascetic) in boat, and A sadhu comes to a household devotee Swamiji explained the 6 aspects of Surrender. He also gave very nice example of crystallizing water by a scientist which resulted, positive words will have positive impact and negative words will have negative impact on water. Our body also mostly consists of water same way our thoughts of positive an negative will impact in respective way. It is good to understand how tiny in front of Gods creation and how short our life in front of billions of years of the creation. We need to be grateful to what God has given us and not to complain what he has not given. Very nice words Swamiji shared of Jesus Christ on this.
In this lecture, Swamiji Mukundananda Ji teaches us the topic of surrendering to God. He states that one should relinquish all material engagements and should devote oneself solely and fully in surrendering unto the lotus feet of Lord Krishna. For me, the take on this lecture is that we should perform every action as a service to God. Very potent lecture on surrendering to God, which is the essence of bhakti.
Six aspect of surrender is very nicely explained.
Jai Shri Radhe swamijee, very good prabachan I am listening maximum time and I also laugh in this prabachan
Swamiji so beautifully equates surrender to the state of a feather that entrusts its life to the wind. Technically, surrender means to relinquish the intellect to the Guru. It is critical that the devotee not question the Guru's judgement but follow the teaching with unquestionable faith. He discusses the six aspects of surrender, one of which is to give up the pride of having surrendered. Swamiji, I really appreciate such an insightful commentary because it is so easy to forget these important messages.
