BDO Duoksini Guide - Boss Mechanics explained - Land of the Morning Light - Boss Blitz

- In this episode of our Black Desert Online Boss Mechanics Explained series (4 of 9), we're taking a deep dive into the combat strategies for one of the game's toughest foes, Duoksini.

Duoksini, the formidable Dokkebi King, presents a unique challenge with a complexity akin to Gumiho. Success against him requires understanding his attack patterns and adapting swiftly to shifting targets, all while dodging lethal blue fire attacks. As the fight progresses, the challenge amplifies, with the battleground gradually filling with blue fire and a 12-minute time limit pushing you against the clock. Beware his fatal one-shot ability activated on reaching the time limit!
Let's break down Duoksini's battle tactics:
Basic Attack: Duoksini starts off with a punishing one-two combo using his fist and bat. He charges up initially, pulling you in - so hold off on the immediate assault.
Blue & Yellow Spirits: Once Duoksini hits 80% HP, he summons these spirits, shaped like flames that dart around the room. The Blue Spirit unleashes a high-damage explosion with residual blue flames. Avoid the flames as they increase in damage when stacked. Kill the two summoned blue spirits immediately to prevent Duoksini from gaining a buff. The Yellow Spirit attack, signalled by a bat slam, can one-shot kill. Kill the two yellow spirits to stop Duoksini's HP recovery and prevent debuffs.
Dual Arm Raise: Duoksini pulls players towards him and detonates a high-damage explosion. Use I-frame or block techniques to mitigate damage, though be warned that even forward guard still incurs damage.
Sun and Moon Auras: At 50% HP, Duoksini moves to the center of the room, displaying either a sun or moon symbol. Depending on the symbol, kill the corresponding Dokkebi that spawns on either side of the room. Success stuns Duoksini briefly.
Goblin Power: When Duoksini's HP falls to 20-25%, he retreats to the room's center and drinks from a bottle, summoning three Dokkebi wizards. Eliminate the correct wizard, distinguished by the energy-gathering effect, to stun Duoksini.
Remember to stay nimble and avoid slower classes or animation locks as there are numerous skills to dodge. Landing a full combo on Duoksini before his next mechanic move is a tough task. Be sure to stun him when "Soldiers! Punish the Mr. Kims!" appears for a brief respite.

you just burst this boss down in no time as drakania? or does drakania not that high damage? :-D which calamity u doing ? :-)
These fights are really not designed for people playing outside NA/EU/KR sadge D:
C6 and C7 have very random sequence of spell cast....even before 80% the boss can cast some one shoot spell, KD you randomly in both hits/AoE Spam.
After 80% it can even cast same spell twice one after the other, which if you not very spammable IA classes you are fked.
Hi, so if i don't kill the flame some "dokebis" are spawned ?
Also my effects don't show the flames pretty well, they are kinda shadowed.
I was able to make 6th but it took me like hours.
Well I messed up at 2:48 ... when the message "Soldiers! Punish the Mr. Kims!" appears, you usually should stun him. If you don't the dokkebis are spawning.
If you don't kill the little flames that are moving through the arena, either the boss gets buff or you get debuffed and the boss will be healed. I definitly had the same visual problem. The blue flames are really difficult to see. The yellow flames are "okay".

Unfortunately, we have already exhausted all our attempts for the boss blitz this week in order to complete the boss series in terms of video material. We will provide an additionally video for duoksini c6 next week after the reset.
I did c6 and the mechanics were the same it seemed, just harder

It’s how it is through your the fights
In the settings you can change the zoom function to be able to zoom out further.
I cant see the fuking flames, can u search ur settings?
Well I don't know if it helps but I'm playing on remastered graphic settings :D
I also have under "Display Settings - Effects - "Effect Opacity" & "Combat Focus" maxed out
Everything that isn't looking neccessary to me I chose the lowest option to get the others more highlited. My texture quality is at low for example.
Maybe maxing out the camera vision range (Display Settings- Camera Graphics - Camera Vision Range) will help you :) This took some time for me to get adjusted to the camera angel, but it's worth it imo.
