Something I should have mentioned is that PEN Rednose is the best chest piece to caphras up to c10 if you are rushing fallen god. It's cheaper to caphras compared to dim tree, and the only downside is 200 less HP temporarily while waiting for fallen god.
Hmm I think the advice should be 1) Get Softcap AP 269 (with season gear and adventure logs you should hit 308 DP, which will let you grind on a lot spots) 2) TET BS Feet (worst armor part, cheapest upgrade for DP) 3) TET BS Gloves (long time until Fallen God, good silver / DP value) 4) PEN Boss Armor (from season, maybe even the "free" PEN item) 5) PEN Boss Helm (should be the next Fallen God item to be released) 6) Get Obsidian Upgrades for BS Feet / Gloves and start going for C10 on Boss Armor, goal is to unlock the 341 DP for better spots to grind And depending on how fast you progress / Fallen God gets released you may just skip Obsidian upgrades and later down the road replace the BS pieces with Boss pieces for more Fallen God fun.
@@arbiter1022 get the pen capotia necklace, do the free pen accessory quests from jetina. Choose to get the ring for more ap. Then earn/enhance for 2 tet tungrad earring, tet basilisk belt. If you have time do 2 more season to get the reward for pen capotia belt and ring. That will make you reach around 263 ap. For the remaining 6 ap do the bartali log book and caphras your weapons to reach 269 ap.
Thanks Choice for very informative video! Perspective of a 4-month-in player focusing only PVE and Life Skills: I think you can just use TET Blackstar armor and work on the total caphras you need to one shot for C10 for your PEN Boss then craft Fallen God. Then you can sell your TET Blackstar back to Central Market. You lose what? 1.6bil to save you a massive headache going back and forth. I think when you start searching for this particular topic, you are probably already making 500mil a day casually (that's me). So you are going to lose only 3 days worth of your effort. And you help someone else on their journey by selling that TET Blackstar back to CM too. And you never know when other pieces of Fallen God would come out so why wait?
Another thing to consider is if ur class has an eva endgame, getting black star cheap while u build up ur eva gear till its effective is also a good deal. u will save ur caphras for ur pen leebur and muskan while being able to do all content and having a decent pvp experience. duo fallen + tet obsidian rest with pen kutum = 361 dp (sheet) while wearing double tet distro, this dp can let you do lots of things while u can focus ur income on building ur ap and accuracy and then switch to eva once u have ur caphras stockpiled up for c9 and ur damage built up for more efficent grinding.
I really wish they would tweak the upgrade rates on blackstar to make it more viable and similar in price with C10 PEN boss gear. It would make sense since they are equal when it comes to exchanging them to Fallen God..
I think you forget that TET BS whether Obsidian or not is going to be end game and best item for most players that they will get . Not everyone is a no lifer that wants to grind for 1000s of hours to get Fallen God etc and PEN accessories. TET BS set is an excellent choice for PVE minded people and will allow you to grind most spots comfortably including Red Orcs and other Elvia spots.
As I completely agree with the chest/helmet I'd say TET BS Gloves/Boots combo is a great stepping stone before getting boss armors. Not Obsidian, just normal. For around 23bil (EU) I get 60bil of PvE stats if I'd try to get those levels of monster DR via PEN Boss gear. Form me personally the loss of tax from buying/selling is greatly covered by easy grind which they enable me to do. At this point it also doesn't matter in PvP as I'm one shotted either with TET BS or one PEN boss.
@@ImChoice Bhegs now dropped to about 14 because of Season+ so still not worth buying, they were around 19-20, Urugons 20.3 the cheapest right now. Still 2 set bonus seems to be better as it's a lot of caphras to get additional 5 DR on top of 4/5 monster DR bonus from he items.
I always thought fallen god should require both variants of boss (red nose + dim tree) or Pen BS. Just C10 on one just seems to simple for the "ultimate armor"
*It's also a great place holder for PvE/PvP gear if youre working on other upgrades like manos accessories/bartering upgrades. I sold all my gear to become a lifeskiller and at the time I bought full tet manos accessories/pen clothes+tools and blackstar armors. The armors allowed me to grind orcs at 331 DP when I had full agris and saved me about 20-30 bil in total at the time. Maybe in the future my 10 bil locked in 2 Obsidian Specter's Energies will be useful \o/
You can always get the TET Obsidian BS and then later get or make a PEN Rednose to C10, and once that Rednose turns into a Deadgod you can sell yous BS or keep it for alt. Also consider the extra money those stats will unlock you by getting them cheaper and earlier, specially considering that for most classes you will want two "PEN" armors to unlock orcs, TET BS unlocks that way earlier due to the lower cost. So with active grind on orcs, by the time you would reach enough dr to do that, it's expected that you will be making more than the market tax of selling back the TET BS for when you need to get deadgod
You can't get back the obsidian upgrade and you'll lose about 15% tax on the blackstar sale, if you use my math for the upgrade and the tax you're losing 6.5b for a temporary item. I think it's better off investing that 6.5b and just getting a rednose/bhegs/tree etc instead.
How did you get to 5b for the Obsidian Gear piece? When I put together all the mats, I got a bit over 3b. The raw mats that drops (Seed, 100 of each times 3) equals to about 1,9B. The concentrated boss aura adds another 1,1b roughly, then it's the rest. Did I miss something? Because a bit over 3 compared to 5 is quite a difference. On another note. We think the helm piece is the next fallen god, so what do you think about 2 set boss gear (chest and helm) then 2 set BS gear (boots and gloves) ?
I think the difference is from wasted time farming the mats, since you can't just buy them, especially if you're mainly a lifeskiller it's pretty painful
Myxlepxkt is right, it's 5b in costs plus opportunity cost. Farming imps for example is a lot less efficient than farming sycraia for money, or especially orcs

I have no plan to get fallen god for all my characters, thats just not realistic in my case so maybe for my main? for most of my Characters blackstar armor is more than enough especially PVE. When they annouced the falled god armor aaaand the new way to hit PEN from seasonal characters, i will be investing a lot to get that PEN boss armors from seasons. This will give me PEN bhegs, PEN giath, and PEN Kutum, which i need to complete all PEN. After fallen god helment, then all my gears will stop at C10 then invest next to PEN accessories.
actually u can chose BS TET , just 2 item and slowly change it later when needed. U can buy Heve C9, Boot/Hand TET BS and Dim armor, work kinda well too. But the dmg reduce from monster doesn't actually big if u have enough money for 2-3 PEn armor so depend on your grinding /money/hr, chose wisely
The issue is changing it later is so costly cause that obsidian upgrade you can't get back. So you spent all that time/money for nothing if you swap armors anyways. I think you're better off just going boss from the start
What ive done is to enchance myself a full set of Tet bs because its easier than getting a pen boss gear. Once I have all tet pieces, Im tapping until I get Pen boss, put c2 on it than sell my tet bs. That way I get pen stat lot easier and still get the upgradability of boss gear later. Im now full pen boss gear c4 :P
That is not a bad idea but you do lose the tax when you sell your tet blackstar gear. Also if you decided to go obsidian you can't get that upgrade back or any value extracted out of it and that's pretty expensive for a temporary piece of gear

A lot of ppl can grind elvia efficiently only because of blackstar armor pieces. As long as it can make you earn 400m instead of 200-250/h, the money u lose on taxes is irrelevant.
at this point in eu. It's better to sell the caphras and buy the fallen god. It's cheaper that way if you calculate the price of the boss armor as well. For anyone who sees this in 2023
what do you mean a click for pen is 1.5bil? by buying costumes off the market you'd get like 300crons per 500mil silver.. which would mean 5+ bil for one click since you need 3.6k
They might change the way fallen god is made when we get the helm with the calpheon elvia region (if they come together of course). It's best to keep all the obsidian mats until we see what they end up doing imo.

I think you should also mention that you also need to grind for Flame of Despair or Embers of Despair to upgrade from C10 Boss gear to Fallen God Armor. Or is it server based? Cause in SEA, Flame of Despair is always sold out and thousands of advance orders so its hard to get one unless you grind and let your RNG decide for your future :D Overall great video hope to see more and god bless!
Most ppl will most likely just Buy the other Fallen Gods, i imagine there a serveral people who already have the pieces and extra flames lined up, and flood the market initially
i was lucky enough to make a tet blackstar armor with 2 tries when it was first introduced. i sold it and bought a pen dim tree with the money. then i made the dim tree c10 by just farming manshaum for the potion piece (that i still don't have)
I play on console and going for a tet bs axe killed the game for me. I went from a 150fs to a 240fs going for tet. I never got it and I was done with bs after that now I'm sitting on a 244 stack and not to sure what to do with it. Recently came back to the game after blowing up all of my gear and I just finished the season and sitting at 257ap 307 dp.
Or just use BS until you have the ressources for Fallen god, then sell the BS armor, and buy a PEN boss armor and caphras it. You can sell the BS gear with a fewhundred mill loss, but you can use the better stats of the BS, then you can still upgrade for cheap.
I am playing succession Hash mostly. I have double TET BS weapon, should i sell awakening and go for Tri C19 dande or it worth keeping the TET BS. Someone said that the monster damage on BS awakening can be compensated with perfume but the accuracy u get on c19 dande is hard to get. Currently 277/279/328, so if i sell it i am planning to push my caphras on my pen Dim tree for fallen god or go with TET Disto. I would like your inputs in this. Thank you!
If you only plan to play succession and you want to PVP the tri Dande is great... However you will notice a loss in PVE damage since yes the monster damage does transfer completely to your succession. Ultimately I think you should probably keep the black Star if you ever want to tag a class in the future. you might find it unfortunate to be limited to only succession classes with a tri dande
All this rambling doesnt account for oportunity cost of grinding higher end zones earlier with blackstar. yes chest is a nono since we already have fallen god, helm id also go boss since that piece is nearer (still dont know when and its probably delayed with the class revamps) but the rest is ok since they are pretty far away, considering the price and that you can actually sell it later whenever the fallengod counterparts come out, In the meanwhile you make more money grinding higher zones for a cheaper entry fee. They will probably give out more pen boss gear for a later switch whith how the game seems to be evolving.... maybe we even get more blackstar upgrades in calpheon elvia... who knows.
I think you misjudged how much I'm willing to grind blackstar is way better for me 46b is ez af to make and all 4 peices one obsidian and pen kutum puts you at 361 which opens almost every spot and then you just grind for the bs smacks for fg and lebreska easily buying 1-2 costumes a day lax grinding on work days. ( Also I see no point at all to "obsidianing" the armors that can be traded in for fg set as that's literally just money lost when you are going to just smack for pen anyways

right now its only chest piece and has to be either PEN blackstar chest, or PEN C10 red nose/dim tree. Red nose chest also takes less caphras to reach C10 than dim tree so like 90% of Fallen God chests came from PEN C10 red nose
to put it simple, you are playing this game for only pve which does not even make sense since this game is all about pvp you go for blackstar armors, since you are a pleb it doesnt matter that you wasted 15b x3 (total 45b) or you are a smart guy who plays pvp too.... you go for pen boss armors and destroy the plebs on the spots and take the spot easy :D
can you tell me how to get from level 0 in naru gear to level 63-64 with full fallen god gear and weapons without doing PVE activities? if you cant then your whole statement and standpoint on the game is completely incorrect. sure some of the endgame content is PVP focused but you get that stuff by doing PVE stuff... this game is literally EVE online but with no space travel.

I am playing succession Hash mostly. I have double TET BS weapon, should i sell awakening and go for Tri C19 dande or it worth keeping the TET BS. Someone said that the monster damage on BS awakening can be compensated with perfume but the accuracy u get on c19 dande is hard to get.
Currently 277/279/328, so if i sell it i am planning to push my caphras on my pen Dim tree for fallen god or go with TET Disto.
I would like your inputs in this. Thank you!
If you only plan to play succession and you want to PVP the tri Dande is great... However you will notice a loss in PVE damage since yes the monster damage does transfer completely to your succession. Ultimately I think you should probably keep the black Star if you ever want to tag a class in the future. you might find it unfortunate to be limited to only succession classes with a tri dande

All this rambling doesnt account for oportunity cost of grinding higher end zones earlier with blackstar. yes chest is a nono since we already have fallen god, helm id also go boss since that piece is nearer (still dont know when and its probably delayed with the class revamps) but the rest is ok since they are pretty far away, considering the price and that you can actually sell it later whenever the fallengod counterparts come out, In the meanwhile you make more money grinding higher zones for a cheaper entry fee. They will probably give out more pen boss gear for a later switch whith how the game seems to be evolving.... maybe we even get more blackstar upgrades in calpheon elvia... who knows.
Honestly what a lot of people i know did is get bs obsidian it then when they have the caphris to get fallen god they buy a rednose and trade it
If they patch bs gear to be able to change to fallen god gear at tet obsidian it should have been fine or give pen obsidian stats
I think you misjudged how much I'm willing to grind blackstar is way better for me 46b is ez af to make and all 4 peices one obsidian and pen kutum puts you at 361 which opens almost every spot and then you just grind for the bs smacks for fg and lebreska easily buying 1-2 costumes a day lax grinding on work days. ( Also I see no point at all to "obsidianing" the armors that can be traded in for fg set as that's literally just money lost when you are going to just smack for pen anyways
Are we getting fallen god's weapons too? If thats the case, isn't selling a PEN bs weapon a good move? I'm a console player, a pen kzarka costs 6bil and caphras are stuck at 1,5mil and a pen bs Max bid is at 82,5bil
Fallen God Weapons need C20 or PEN BS, why sell the Blackstar?
Not to mention we dont know when it releases, dont pull a "im selling my tet neck because in 3 seasons we‘ll also get it" with Fallen God Weapons that could be 2 Years away.

i thought obsidian upgrades only went up to tet, how do we get a pen obsidian? same method or do you have to tap an upgraded tet and it will maintain the upgrade to pen?
@Vercusgames i know enhancing works, thats not what im asking. i already have a tet obsidian armor, according to patch notes you cant have pen obsidian armor, so how do i get it? do i have to tap my tet obsidian to pen for it to stay with the upgrade or?
@@sirvere4840 Well it doesnt give you any Bonus at PEN, but if you have the upgrade on it, it will say Obsidian PEN Blackstar.

right now its only chest piece and has to be either PEN blackstar chest, or PEN C10 red nose/dim tree. Red nose chest also takes less caphras to reach C10 than dim tree so like 90% of Fallen God chests came from PEN C10 red nose

to put it simple, you are playing this game for only pve which does not even make sense since this game is all about pvp you go for blackstar armors, since you are a pleb it doesnt matter that you wasted 15b x3 (total 45b) or you are a smart guy who plays pvp too.... you go for pen boss armors and destroy the plebs on the spots and take the spot easy :D
can you tell me how to get from level 0 in naru gear to level 63-64 with full fallen god gear and weapons without doing PVE activities? if you cant then your whole statement and standpoint on the game is completely incorrect. sure some of the endgame content is PVP focused but you get that stuff by doing PVE stuff... this game is literally EVE online but with no space travel.
