Balrog is a damage monster! The character fondly known as ‘Boxer’ around the world is a pressure-heavy character that bases his game on whiff punishes and keeping opponents locked in the corner. You can’t have a list of notable Balrogs in the world and not mention Nightmare and his insane skill is evident in this guide.

The thing you cover that almost no one else does is "what am I trying to do and why am I pressing buttons". Most of the time its just herp derp here are some combos.

That mk, mp into screw punch don't work anymore. I think Capcom patched it. It works with mp into screw punch, no longer the three hit combo
Update; either you said it wrong, or it was changed, the combo is LP, MP, Screw punch

Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately that combo has been patched out since we released this video back in 2021.

I can't figure out how to trigger Crazy rush after activating it
like he rushes multiple times but I can't figure out the button commands to do it.
on his screen he just seems to push back mid punch and he throws another punch but for me he doesn't do that.
this is driving me crazy it's so frustrating

It's only off of normals that can special cancel

@@21leowheeler Type in "McMuraFGC", and look for his SFV Character Guide section for his Laura Guide. Also, look up Rockwell's Laura Guide (czcams.com/video/CjU3hBmxmPc/video.html)
Oh yeah, type in "Team Look And C", Mira has Laura Match-Up Guides on how to take on several characters on the Roster. And if you really, really want to be foolproof in SFV, have Poison as a Pocket. Just don't ever use Poison against Balrog, that match-up is probably her worse one

Im mostly pretty new to trying to get good at sf, so i have a quick question how do you make it so that your dash straight comes out instantly? I have to do like almost three steps back to a quick foward to get it

charge it while doing your other attacks, takes a while to get used to, but its really easy once you get it down

@@Cayn1234 hmm, I thought about doing that right now im tying to see what it's good to charge with because I have no idea. I'm use to using Dudley more than balrog so his style is very different than what I am use to

Do you mean when you have V-Skill 2 up? They nerfed it, now you can do it without charge only if doing a combo. If you do it raw you must charge it.
