This is perfect since we’re all in quarantine right now.
This is great! I’ve been trying to master the Hmong language for numerous years and still run into challenges. However, your two seasons had supported and benefited me so much. Again, thank you so much!
OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOSHHH!!!! YOU ARE SUUUUUUUUUUUCCH A FANTASTIC TEACHER!!!!!!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!! I've been trying to learn Hmong again because I don't get to practice Hmong anymore and my parents didn't really teach us how to read and write so this is FANTASTIC!!! I definitely want to teach my kids the way you did too! KEEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
Thanks Blia! Glad you will be teaching your children as well
Poj ruam sau ntawv li cov ruam ! Pog vwm sau ntawv li cov vwm ! tsis muaj neeg nyeem tau !
This is one of the most helpful video i've seen, thank you so much for fully explaining how to pair the words and how the tones work together. :D
"Ua tsua koj pab kuv kwn thiab sau tau ntawv hmoob." Thank you very much for your post. It's awsome, now I can really start reading and writing ntawv hmoob.-Hmoob nyoob MN
Really great simple way of explaining our Hmong language! Thanks for sharing 😁
Thank you!!! Your videos and charts will be soooooo helpful in teaching me how to start reading & writing hmong. ^_^
Thank you for the charts. Great job!
OMG this helps me a lot! I had relatives helped in the past with the tones, but they were still as confusing as ever. Thank you for providing the visual symbols. I studied Chinese in the past, so these symbols make it easier for me to understand the tones. Ua tsaug ntau ntau nawb!
Thank You! That was fun and easy to understand. I really appreciate your video.
You have done a great job. In addition, could you read the columns straight down for practice? As a Mika, there would be minimal change while practicing the same tone over and over. I think non-Hmong, nontonal speaking people, specifically, could hear the tones better. However, as a musician who is used to matching pitch, it is sometimes harder for me to learn these tones when I really need to do it within the relative range of my voice.
I remember coming across this video and I was clueless, but now I’m fluent , makes more sense 😂😂ty!! U helped me!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤❤❤
This really helped 🦋
This is great! Thank you for this!
Hello there, I was very interested in learning to read and write in hmong. I just have one question are you still offering the following charts for individuals that still want to read and write in hmong?

Thanks so much for this! It is a great video! Would we be able to download the charts again?
This is very help!!! Thankyou!!
I love how you have English words as example because the sounds are the hardest for me.
I could not have learned to read & write Hmong as quickly as I did without the English recall words
Hahaha this is yooj yim tiag. I gotta make sure I have to keep practicing my tones alot. I'm looking forward to another one of your videos.
Ua tsaug os! Glad you are practicing writing Hmoob already! :)

Nice! Very good explanation 😃👍
Thank you for posting this! I tried to access the charts but get a message that the item no longer exist? Is it possible for you to email these charts to me? Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for your videos and charts! I love the visual cues for the tones. The chart link doesn’t work and I’m wondering if you still have the chart available for sharing? Thanks for considering!
good job!! Zoo heev
Thanks a bunch. I can speak Hmong really well but never been able to really read or write it. I know some words from memory as I see it very often like "Hlub" or "Koj" but other then that...nothing. Trying to learn this because my generation is getting older and I want to learn about weddings and funeral ways for my family so when the time comes..I can do it myself without having to ask someone else to help.
That's great! Keep practicing! Wish you all the best!
"Aim" made me lol when practicing my letters.
Currently learning to read at the age of 25.
Good job! Never too late!

Your link for the charts won't load. Is there a PDF file for this chart? I want to print it out and study. ^_^
Hi, are the charts still available? If so, can you email them to me?
Thanks!
Can I get a email print of the charts .. thank you
Thanks
VERY GOOD! I LIKE YOUR LESSONS! But I've noticed the tone "OD" has been added, so that will be the 8th tone... how does it sound? ..
There are not very many words with the 8th tone so to make it easy I kept it the way I learned with 7 tones. I am no where close to being a Hmong scholar but I've found that this method is easy & sufficient for beginners
Nkauj Zuag Paj okay gotcha!! Thank you for your lessons! :))

Hmong languages also composed with 3 syllables in one word such as "huvtuabsi", 2 syllables such as "taagnrho" or more. Because we have to have noun, adverb, verb, and adjective. Without these foreinger can't write hmoob correctly.
Could you translate "Ntxhais Hmoob Lis" for me? please and thank you
Hmong daughter/girl with the last name Lee.
Nkauj Zuag Paj Thank you so much!
Sounds like Music.... is what everyone say.

Lol. I think this lesson is made for foreigners or the younger Hmong people that did not learned our language during K-12.
Darn. Can't pull upthe charts anymore.
Same I don't have Microsoft on a phone
Please email me the chart.
Julie Lo what is your email?
Hmong Country Hi, can I get the chart email to me too? Email is muahsx@gmail.com. Thank you!
what happen? you done teaching?
KING KONG lol too busy right now
That is good but seem in some of the hmong words you were pronounced uncorrected. Anyway you may have more reviews on how to pronounce correctly.
koj tsis muaj tus cim (D) ned.
Thanks for your response. Only sharing what I know in White Hmong - not Green Hmong. White Hmong does not have "D" as a tone marker
nws yog ib tug cim od. tsis yog tias lus hmoob abtsi os. hmoob nyiam hais lolus tias ua li ntawd, tsis yog ua li ntawv os.
Did not know that - will continue to learn. Thanks for sharing!
Great Video! Excuse me for butting in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Millawdon Future Ticket Trick (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for teaching children to read minus the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my buddy finally got excellent results with it.
@@hmongcountry1787 I am a white hmong and I have always know that hmoob has 8 lub suab and not in green hmong.
nice! Sib pab sub nawb. Kuv sub koj lawm
Well, this isn't helpful for anybody else but Hmong that already speak it lol
Can you email me the charts, makes so much sense. Thanks
