- In episode 71, we show you what it's like to live at the beach at the Jersey Shore. We want to prove that New Jersey beach towns are not like the Jersey Shore tv show, at least not South Jersey, in our opinion. Of course, you can find the crazy nightlife down here, Atlantic City has its own fun, and beach towns like Sea Isle, Avalon, and North Wildwood are known for their fun bars. But you do not get the fist-pumping, GTL (gym tan laundry) lifestyle down here!

Great video, I spend a lot of time in Atlantic City, and love exploring the boardwalk, the brigantine boardwalk is great, havenât been able to explore the ventnor city boardwalk, hoping to do it in a few weeks. Hopefully your Airbnb is going well.

Fun to see you like the same places as we do. We boat to Corsons Inlet and the Marina District in AC. The Golden Nugget Hotel has great bands on weekends with free dockage! It's too bad that Atlantic City, off the boardwalk, is a very high crime area. I would not want to live in AC. We enjoyed watching the Atlantic City Air Show and the Air Force Thunderbirds, like the Blue Angles, from the Ventnor Pier. A perfect spot! Great video!

My wife and I love beaches it makes us so happy. I lived along the SC beach where I grew up for many years and visit often. Nothing like the smells and breeze in the face.

Thereâs definitely some good spots but also lots of sketchy spots! Either way the south Jersey islands are great!

Cool. A friend used to rent a house every summer on the Jersey Shore. The beach life is incredible. Can't wait for our overlander box van conversion is finished so we can start filming each weekend on both coasts of Florida
Your beach reminds me of 1st beach in Newport Rhode Island where I grew up.

You hang out with the best of them. Many years ago the word spread like lightning all around Strathmere when Twisties had two famous visitors - Johnny Carson and Ed McMahon! Ed had a home in Avalon and they decided to to a drive up the coast and stopped in at Twisties by the Bay!

Hey guys! đ wowww reflective memories!! I used to reside in Longport. Didn't know you guys are in Ventnor Cityđ€....small world. Were you actually surfing near the Ventnor pier or was that at the Margate city line pier? They aren't afar from one another? So Gardeners' basin looking better as across the marina is Golden Nugget boat marina! Whewwđđ happy labor day weekendđșđșđž!
That was Ventnorâs pier! Longport is beautiful but so damn expensive!!!!

I've been going to the shore for more than 70 years, and I never ever go to Atlantic City. My Dad, who worked in Manhattan, used to refer to Atlantic City as New York City on the beach. No thank you. His father never went there, nor did any of my friends. Ever. You go to the shore to go to the shore.
