Verdade Vivian. Esse primeiro Álbum do Shaman é espetacular e este DVD é simplesmente maravilhoso
Eu estava nesse show. Tinha 12 anos, e meu pai teve que me levar porque eu não podia entrar sozinho. Foi o segundo show que fui na vida (o primeiro foi o encerramento da tour do Rebirth do Angra, que minha mãe me levou alguns meses antes).
Hoje eu sou formado em música, vivo disso, vivo para isso, e sou eternamente grato a essa época, aos meus pais, e a esses caras por terem me ajudado a descobrir e entender quem eu sou. Talvez por isso a morte do Andre tenha doído em mim como se fosse a morte de um amigo próximo. Reassistir a esse show é como me reencontrar comigo mesmo de quase 20 anos atrás e sentar para bater um papo sobre tudo o que rolou de lá pra cá.
Que sorte! Parabéns por esses shows terem sido o catalizador da continuidade de tudo aquilo que tu se propôs a fazer! METAL IS THE LAW KKKKKKKKKK

É um privilégio poder assisti-lo, mas para quem teve a oportunidade de ver isso ao vivo acredito que dificilmente viu ou verá um show com tamanha perfeição.

This show is easily one of the most PHENOMENAL shows that I have ever seen. I can only imagine how much more amazing it was in person. The album Ritual is a MASTERPIECE!! Every song on it is PERFECT. I got the live album RituAlive first before I got the studio album Ritual. After listening to the live album so many times, I think I listened to the studio just a few times. Andre Matos in the past few months has become one of my favorite singers, songwriters, composers, and performers ever. I have known about Angra for at least twenty years, but the first time I ever gave them a listen was the same day that it was announced that Andre Matos passed away. I regret not giving them a listen when I first heard about them because they have become one of my favorite bands. I have also become a huge fan of Viper, Shaman, Symphonia, Andre Matos solo band, and Almah these past few months. All these bands have insanely AMAZING musicians. I love every era from Angra and I love all three lead singers that have sang for them, but Andre is my favorite singer and songwriter that the band has ever had. I love every song that Andre has written, especially Carry on, Streets Of Tomorrow, and my two favorites Fairy Tale and Lisbon. I hate that he passed away at such a young age, but his music will live on forever. May he Rest In Peace 🙏.
+John Katsoudas Agree 100% brother, its phenomenal. Many i talk to say they prefer the live to the studio. Hate that he's gone from the stage, my favorite singer/composer/musician, but yea all are amazing musicians, those are great songs, the compositions are just so well thought out, with everything thrown in and more. So sad but what a treasure he left for us to enjoy eh? Glad you got into them after all, but out of curiosity how come you think you didn't check them out before?
They perfomed a lot of more songs in this concert. Including more from Angra, Viper and even Virgo (you didn't mention it, but if you don't know Virgo, you must listen to, it's a project with Andre and guitarrist Sacha Paeth (also participate in Ritualive).
@@Dominick7 I to this day still don't understand why I never checked them out sometime in more than 20 years that I knew about them. If I had known that Angra recorded their first studio album at Kai Hansen studios , I most definitely would have given them a chance a long long time. Gamma Ray has been one of my all time favorite bands since they have come out. I am definitely beating myself up for it. I never heard of Shaman,Viper, Symfonia, or Almah until six months ago. I checked them all out and six months later I have all their studio albums and live albums. I have definitely missed out on alot of great music. I have listened to both Lisbon and Fairy Tale at least once a day for the last six months. They are some of the greatest songs I have ever listened to.
@@rafaelsantosx I saw here on CZcams that there were more songs performed that didn't make the live album or DVD. I wish that they did because I would love to hear them in Amazing quality. I wish that they also released the Pre Ritual live concert that I found also on CZcams on DVD and as a live album in its entirety. I actually have the Virgo album coming sometime in the mail soon I hope. I am really impressed with how much Phenomenal material all these bands have put out. All of them are very consistent at putting out just amazing songs and no filler songs like most bands do.
@@rafaelsantosx I just got the Virgo album Matos/Paeth earlier today in the mail finally. So far I have only listened to the first song To Be and I love it. I pretty much know that the rest of the album is going to be amazing because both of them are phenomenal musicians. I now finally have every album that Andre Matos has done. He really was a huge musical genius big time. He left alot of great music that will hopefully live forever because it deserves to.

A primeira vez que li Senhor dos Anéis em 2004 foi todo ao som do Ritual. Na época eu tinha um "discman" e só esse CD. Então, quando eu acabava um capítulo do livro e ainda tava no meio do álbum, começava outro capítulo, ou ao contrário, eu terminava o cd, mais ainda estava no meio do capítulo, colocava pra rodar de novo o cd (tudo na base de pilhas recarregáveis). Hoje não consigo escutar uma música do Ritual sem lembrar do Frodo, Gandalf, Aragorn e todo o resto, da mesma forma que não consigo ler o livro sem vir na minha mente as músicas. As partes mais marcantes do livro eu lembro exatamente quais músicas eu estava escutando no momento. Puta nostalgia, que vontade de voltar naquela época e reviver aquele sentimento de estar lendo a primeira vez essa obra prima com essa trilha sonora fantástica.

Today is the two year anniversary of Andre Matos's passing. For the whole month of June, I will be listening to everything that Andre Matos did including Viper, Angra, Shaman, Virgo, The Andre Matos Band, Avantasia, other guest spots. Everything that Andre Matos did in my opinion is PHENOMENAL!! This show is easily one of the greatest shows ever. The performance and set list is incredible. May Andre Matos Rest In Peace, and for all his music to live on forever.

I agree with you!! South American Heavy Metal is Amazing!! I just recently got into bands like Shaman, Angra, Almah, and Viper these past six months and I love them all big time. The only band I knew and have been listening to for many years is Sepultura. I actually love bands like Shaman, Viper, Angra, and Almah way more now. They are all amazing and insanely talented.

@@Dominick7 I actually got Virgo Matos/Paeth album over 1 month ago and love it. I will definitely check out these bands that you recommended. The only one that I do know of is Noturnall, because I think that this band was formed with Angra's second drummer Aquiles Priester and Shaman's second lineup members after the second version of Shaman ended. I still have not listened to Noturnall but I will hopefully soon and your other recommendations. Thanks again. Death vocals are usually not my thing. I have always been into mostly clean vocal styles, but tastes can change.

O som simplesmente está no nível e qualidade nos dias atuais, sendo q foi produzido há 17 anos praticamente.
Uma obra prima. Um ídolo, nosso maestro, Andre Matos! Felizmente agora temos mais uma gravação a nível internacional, o Temple of Shadows In Concert, que pelo amor de Deus, está uma pérola de fenomenal!
Sejamos sinceros, André e sua voz inesquecível, Shaman original afinadíssimo, Confessori quebrando tudo, irmãos Mariucci até o limite, Andy Deris e Tobias Sammet dando tudo de si, realmente, uma recordação impar. Quem esteve nesse dia no Credicard Hall, no dia 05 de abril de 2003 saberá exatamente o que estou falando. Nesse exato e glorioso dia estava assistindo uma apoteose do metal brasileiro,
de tal grandiosidade que jamais irei esquecer deste concerto. Sobrou talento, humildade e em fim tudo que que um fã do metal queria ouvir nesse dia. André se foi más deixou um legado. E esse legado vou ouvir para sempre. E sobre a banda que conquistou o mundo, continue seu legado, que com certeza alegrará muitos corações ainda (Tarley persan).
André tinha então 32 anos e muito talento, os demais parceiros mais ou menos as mesmas idades, estavam todos na mesma vibe. Fizeram excelente trabalho, é delicioso ouvir e assistir em meio esta pandemia de 2020. Com certeza o maestro faz falta, mas olha o Confessori aí gente, o Hugo e os demais, são muito bons. Sucesso a Banda q leva o legado do André como ninguém.
I have been listening to this live album almost everyday since the crisis has started. I have been trying to listen to everything that puts me in a great mood, and this show always does the trick. This is easily one of the greatest shows ever. If a time machine existed this is definitely one of the shows I would go see. Other than the music being amazing, that crowd is phenomenal. I have never been to one show here that has the passion that this crowd does. When it comes to the South American crowd, no one even comes close to the passion they have for their favorite bands. I hope everyone here is safe and healthy. Take care and hopefully things will get back to normal very soon.

The passion you guys have is amazing, and that is why so many bands keep coming there and putting out live albums and DVDS. Megadeth's That One Night Live In Bueno Aries in my opinion is one of the greatest live albums/Dvd ever. The audience on that show is phenomenal. It made the show way better than it already was.
I have watched this show many, many times in the past two years. It has become one of my all time favorites. Bands like Shaman, Angra, Viper, The Andre Matos Band, Symfonia, and Almah have all had a huge impact on my life. The last time any band ever had this much of an impact was over twenty years ago when I first listened to Iced Earth back in 1996 at 18 years old. For many years after, I never thought that I could ever find another band that would become very special to me. I am glad that I was wrong because all these Brazilian bands have become very special to me. These bands made me feel like a teenager again. They all have some of the greatest music that I have ever listened to, and all of them are consistent. I have said it before, but I will say it again. If a time machine existed, this is one show I would definitely go to.

Primeiro por que foi um dos primeiros grande show de Metal que eu fui (à época tinha 17 anos), Segundo por cada nota soar dolorida quando lembro que nunca mais teremos uma composição nova do Andre, que não era só um grande músico, mas, como todos falam e os fãs sempre evidenciaram, um grande ser humano. Andre um talento nato extremamente completo voz, presença de palco, instrumentos, poliglota, formado em música, na minha opinião foi o melhor artista que já representou o Brasil, fora a humildade, educação, um baita vozeirão no palco e doce nas entrevistas, olho no olho, tom baixo .... nessa época ainda no auge da beleza.

O Brasil é grandioso no metal, assistindo em 2023.
Tenho uma lembrança engraçada desse show: nos 01:10:40 tem uma roda da Pride que eu ajudei a abrir as custas de sair na mão com 2 bolados que não deixavam a gente abrir roda porque estavam com as namoradas no meio da pista e queriam o total conforto. Implicaram o show inteiro com a galera querendo abrir rodinha ou agitar. Aí André anunciou a Pride com uma missa de zueira oferecendo a salvação de todos os "irmãos" em nome de Luis "Jesus" Mariutti e começa a música gritando: "nessa próxima quem não agitar vai tomar muita porradaaaaa". Empurrei os dois malucos, um deles me deu um murro na cara e o pau fechou huahuhua. Vieram pra cima mas com todos os bangers da volta sedentos por uma roda a casa caiu pros boladinhos. Tratamos de tirar os caras fora "carinhosamente" e a galera finalmente abriu uma roda de respeito. Bons tempos, saudades demais dessa época e feliz de ter assistido ao vivo esse que considero o melhor show da minha vida e o melhor DVD de metal de todos os tempos. Obrigado por tudo maestro. André Matos eterno!

Gênio! E que voooozzz!! Desculpe temple of shadows, mas Angels Cry mandou lembrança. Em termos de performance, realmente Temple of shadows é inigualável. Agora pela quantidade de músicas inesquecíveis do metal, o Angels cry é incrível. É um clássico do metal mundial.

André, simplesmente, em uma de suas melhores performances em shows, um monstro no vocal. Hugo, Luis e Ricardo arrebentando nos instrumentos. Destaque à qualidade sonora do DVD. Realmente o melhor DVD de metal do Brasil.
É triste saber que o André morreu praticamente de desgosto com o cenário musical atual. Um dos maiores gênios da música brasileira esquecido neste mar de lama e lixo que a indústria musical daqui se tornou.
Tive a honra e o prazer de assistir a três shows do Shaman. E ainda assisti a um show do André Matos no meu aniversário. Saudades...
eu tinha esse DVD assinado pelo André, Luis e Confessori...tive que vender na galeria do rock com uma porrada de outros dvds e cds pra pintar um apartamento alugado que eu tinha que devolver hehehehehehe, que época gloriosa do cenário do Metal Brasileiro!

Tive o prazer de estar em vários shows do Ritual... Devia ter uns 13, 14 anos, época incrível, ouvir trás nostalgia demais... Senhor dos anéis, primeira namorada, mmorpgs no talo, parece que tudo vem na memória... que época boa
