Yay! Glad you liked it! You can’t go wrong with UFD and wet line. I will often try different leave ins and it works well with a lot of them, but KCKT is my go to. Thanks for trying my combo, it looked great!😍

UFD needs lots of water, should’ve spritzed with more water before applying UFD. I know this is 2yrs later but I’m getting ready to try kinky curly leave in with Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic and Innersence I Create Hold.

Your hair turned out nice and I know you were concerned. Wetline flakes in day 2 for me but I have to try it with a very moisturizing leave in

Never tried Kinky Curly before but definitely want to try. I would never have thought of pairing two gels together. Very interesting.. It came out good though.

I usually do the uncle funky with wetline but never tried the kinky curly as a leave in... definitely will try this combo
If you like kinky curly, then I'd say give it a try. If you don't, then I would say use your favorite leave-in and see how that works. The As I Am leave-in (original line) worked well with these two gels, too.

Thank you. The leave-in is not my favorite, but I am starting to really like the UFD. If you don't like a topper to UFD, then you don't have to use any, but if you want one, then it works well with Eco Style gel, too. Thanks for watching.

I usually add a blurb at the bottom of the screen to give my review after a few days. I usually don't get back on screen to show my hair because it causes me to have to wait even later to edit and put the video up. However, a lot of times you will see my hair in other videos that were filmed days later that will show how my hair held up. I hope that helps.
Have you tried looking in your local beauty supply store for the old version of wetline? Mine had a jar last week and I picked it up

No, haven't been inside a beauty supply store since covid. However, I have tried ordering online and no one had it at that time. Maybe Wetline heard us complaining and decided to bring back the green top.😁

💥I like the Curl Magic as it's very moisturising but unfortunately very soft hold on its own. Haven't found the perfect combo just yet.

Hi, I did this a while ago, so I don't remember all the details. However, I believe I had a blurb in my video that gave this information if you want to check there. To guess, I think it did have some dusting, nothing to major though.

That's how Kinky Curly performs in my hair. My hair feels rough and it gets tangled right back up.
I don't like that. However, it did come out looking good and lasted about 4 days. But it still won't make my holy grail list because I can't do the tangles. Thanks for watching!

kinky curly knot today is meant to be used as a system with the kinky curly custard alone (using more of the leave in than the custard) . i know ppl mix in match it with other products but it really doesn't give it's best results when used with other products.

Thanks. No, wetline is not my favorite gel. I used to really love it, but they changed the ingredients a little so I don't like it as much. However, it is the one that pairs with most things without flaking. I have not tried Naturalicious...thought about it, but never pulled the trigger. I don't care for clays that much. I have multiple videos on my channel about clay washes and why I don't care for them; feel free to check them out when you get a chance. Thanks for tuning in.

You could be right. I need to try the UFD alone to see how moisturized my hair stays.
There's not a lot of moisture in the leave-in that you used (kinky curly knot today). The curl definition is coming out nicely.
If you don’t want to trash the KInky Curly Knot Today maybe you should try the Kimmaytube leave in recipe .. She came up with a recipe to pH balance the KCKT . I loved it back in the day. Watching your video has me wanting to revisit it.
