- Installed a Empire Exhaust on my wifes Canam Outlander 850 XMR. She has been wanting an Empire Exhaust on her Canam Outlander 850 XMR for a year now and finally made this happen. This Empire Exhaust paired with the Canam Outlander 850 XMR sounds really good, not to loud, but when you get the throttle she starts talking. A sound clip video will be coming shortly after I receive her ECU back from being tuned.

For future reference my man in case you ever have to take it off. The top hanger bolt that’s hard to get to you can get to the nut if you open your back storage compartment and use a long extension instead of having to wiggle the box wrench in there!

What paint finish is your cans an tips, I was told that is the powder coated can finish with black tips is that true ??????.
Ours is a milled black tip, don’t see an option of an all black tip on their website. But I’m sure a powder coat shop could knock that out for a few dollars.
The fuel tuner that empire sell the bomb does it come ready or do you have to mess with
I did not use the fuel tuner from empire I got mine tuned by a guy in Memphis. Now I know the PC3 you can find the map you need off their website and load that onto it and will get you 90% dialed in, maybe even more, or less. If you want it perfect you will need a custom tune

Would you do a Tune + Slip on prior to an STM Clutch Upgrade or after (assuming you've done both + tires)?

The tune wakes the bike up however, so does the clutching. Its a good idea to do clutching and tires first so then when I tune I have everything done and can tune it properly for what the bike has done to it and not have to go back to the tuner after I change those things

SLG OR EMPIRE? And why? I like both and leaning towards the empire duals myself.
Really can’t go wrong either way.. everyone runs the duals so i went SLG. The single empire sounds amazing. SLG has more of a chop like a Harley. The empire is a little deeper but not as loud overall.
Is that the brushed one or powder coated one also is that the raw tip one or the black tip one? Please let me know asap.

Oh I had the power of film behind me.. getting everything lightened up perfect was a PIMA.
@@HanginWithPA mines being hardheaded and not sliding on the headers had to spray wd-40 on it so it would help it slide on
Yep that’s what I had to do.. also make sure the exhaust clamp is opened and not tightened down
