- 👋 We just bought NEW GoPro Hero 10 Black action cameras from Costco. Got a crazy good deal this black Friday. So now lets compare the GoPro Hero 7 Black to the 10 Black! The GoPro Hero 7 is a really good camera and I have enjoyed using it the past few years. Really a step up from previous cameras. THe new Hero 10 tho is a big step up with the front screen, much better colors and contrast and an easier camera to use. I will say the raw audio from the 10 is a bit better. But once adjusted they both sound about the same. Colors and features are a big step up and I think the Hero 10 is a solid choice! The GoPro Hero 11 is a much more expensive camera then what you can get a Hero 10 for, so I'd say ditch the Hero 11 and find a good deal on the Hero 10! GoPro Hero 10 vs GoPro hero 11, why buy the hero 11 when the 10 is pretty much the same! This video is a comparison of the GoPro Hero 10 Black vs the GoPro Hero 7 Black camera. Glad you enjoyed the video! We are loving the 10s! Still got them for a great deal compared to what they sell for now. So been very happy with that. Sold the Hero 7 for almost what we got the 10s for too lol. Definitely a good upgrade. Wait for Black Friday again and maybe Costco will have the same deal on the 10s that are still out there

The 10 has improved dynamic range, voice recording, stabilization, and newer/better features. But the 7 has a better white balance. I’ve watched countless videos comparing versions 7, 8, 9, and 10, and the white balance on 7 is the best by far. With a proper, custom white balance, you should be able to adjust it later. But right out of the camera, the 10 has a noticeable yellow tint.
Coming from someone who has never used a GoPro before but does a lot of photography, the GoPro 10 is worth the extra money.
I just ordered me the GoPro 11. I’ve been out of the action camera game for a while now. My last one I had was the 5 so I’m super stoked about what the 11 is about!

7 is a great camera for sure! Just depends on how much you use them. For us, they are our job. So makes sense to get a new one every few years lol

I have the 7 Black. Which one of the current ones has the best battery life with removable batteries (meaning the 9, 10 and 11)?
I wouldnt know on the 9 and 11. But the 10 seems similar to the 7

I'm sure either camera will show off your car well. The 10 definitely has better color and quality. As an automotive CZcamsr these are the cameras I use to film car reviews, and I've been enjoying the new Hero 10 for all the cars we film for our channel

I was thinking of getting a 7 but going off how good the image stabiliser is on the 10 it will be better for my videos so think I'll look out for a 10.

I use a Hero 7 Black as a dash cam since virtually every purpose built dash cam uses the same extremely dated image processor. The Gopro image quality is far superior in every aspect. The only thing they're lacking is the dash cam specific software features like the ability to continuously overwrite video files as the card capacity is reached or any of the auto record features triggered by motion or vehicle disturbance. The Gopro definitely appears to have battery longevity issues as well and after 6-8 months they don't want to charge anymore. It's probably related to the way I'm using them. I have a 1hr commute to and from work so the batteries are constantly getting cycled. Anyway, I just got an offer to get the Hero 10 for $279 and was curious what's changed since the 7. I don't know if it's necessary for my type of usage.
Yeah that'd be cool to have a feature like that on these. Hero 7 is a solid camera and I really like them.
Can I charge the 11 while recording? I tried but the battery falls, it's easier with the 7

This was just a review of these GoPros. Take a look at my GTR playlist. I have over a hundred videos on the GTR. Bought it stock and built it up to 700 HP in the 5.5 years I owned it. Plenty of vids on it if you want to check it out
