This ist exactly you!Just simply a real man!!! PS:Forgive my Bad english
Thank you very much for taking time to leave such a great review. It means a lot coming from a fellow mechanic. I googled your town it looks very nice and peaceful 🇩🇪🍻🍻🍻🍻
Good to see you using a heater in these sub arctic temperatures. Wow that Celica took some work to disassemble. I thought being 20 years old it would be easier, just shows how well engineered it is. Well done bud. 👍
Thank you Kevin. Seen about every video you have now and still,, I hold my breath every time it´s time to remove or put back the gearbox. Remarkable how you avoid getting your hands jamed or crushed against all the metal brackets sticking out everywhere. Hope you get some warmer weather soon, loo like you have had your share of cold days to. Regards from Sweden.
I done a clutch in a 2018 Hyundai i10 also during the week 3 hours later driving it off the ramp again 🎉 simple straight forward clutch pity they can’t all be like that…. Thanks for sharing Kev. 💪👍
Bloody freaking legend 👏 another well done week/video full bro never lift 😏 🤙 mobbin deep 🙌 man winter is no joke in uk stay safe/warm bro grind never stops 🙌send it still hoping you do a video on a evo x Job 👍
Wow you will be coming up to stoke next hope you are well i have had a very bad dose of the flue just getting a bit better the weather is not to good for you so keep safe if you can and thanks for the video
Kevin could you start putting on the fault being experienced and possibly show us what a spent clutch looks like as well as flywheel, thanks for entertaining us with these vids
Hi Kevin. I had 2 celicas before. One the older shape and one this shape. I also had a civic type r. I wish i had kept them all. Now i have a diesel vauxhall insignia 😅😅
This dude is unreal. Just how good is his filming and editing? Watch from 16:59 to 17:05 where he is unscrewing a bolt that he can't see but we can. And he films it. He makes filming and editing look easy. Trust me. Its not.
Hi Kevin , thank you for all the effort making these video's. thanks to your video's i have the courage to replace the clutch and flywheel on my 2015 peugeot 308SW MK2 1.6 bluehdi. I have watched a lot of your video's , but unfortunally you don't have a recording of a 2015 308SW. which other car could i use as the best matching example for my job? Keep up the good work and greetings from the netherlands.
Thanks for the reply, that's great to hear ! I have some time before my parts arrive so i can study some 3008 video's. Hope i can be as efficient as you are and finish the job in a day. @@WMCS
The Sheffield job was a bit of a trot , Kev! Just out of interest, what's the furthest you have travelled to do a clutch?! Always nice to have passersby talk to you for hours on end, right Kev!
Do you put your name and date with permanent marker on the pressure plate housing so the next time it needs a clutch the person will know that it was previously changed.
Another Celica? I just finished the clutch change on mine. Just waiting on a homie to help me reattach the axels cuz we didn't have the nut to pull it out from the wheel hub
@@WMCS it definitely is I live in the Caribbean n mine has a full skirt kit on it which breaks necks. The only downside is I have the superstrut Japanese suspension so following CZcams guides will never show me step by step what to do
Only thing I know is they’re quite popular off eBay. I’ve never even held one in hand. When buying a clutch what you need to know is is the pressure plate force and the amount of copper or ceramic in the friction plate. That’s where the price lay. Otherwise it’s cheap metal that will weaken with temp and chocolate melt the friction plate. Long answer to a short question.

hi kevin, does a sachs x-tend clutch require a special tool to install? please reply, good luck
The diesel heater is a brilliant idea. Top notch work as usual. Efficient work and a brilliant reference video for anyone working the same vehicle.
Nice work Kevin, it amazes me watching you bench press those gear boxes back into the chasis. The diesel heater is brilliant . 👍
What a bit of class with the celica, all the wheels looked as though they'd been refurbed as well, great content and work as always Kevin 👍🏻 👌
Love your videos. Lost your channel and thank god I found it again

Definitely a nice little bit of luxury that heater is .. life wouldn’t be the same without it .. celica was a little gem 💎

Hello to you my friend and have a good weekend
🥇… ☕️ 🚬 .. have a great weekend mate.
I've said this before, when the man of steel has his diesel heater running on overtime you no its COLD. 🥶👍

you should put like a protection around the car, to keep the heat under
Now that’s a very very good idea.
I’m actually gonna look at magnetic curtains for vehicles. I think snap on does them. 🍻🍻🍻

Hello. What model of Milwaukee m12 cordless are you using?
One of the axle stands on each side is not on a jacking point, is it?

Can i get your opinion on Borg&Beck clutch kits?
Only thing I know is they’re quite popular off eBay. I’ve never even held one in hand.

Is the ratchet holding being "clutch dumped" like that ?
Sorry I’m not sure what you mean.

I gotta ask as Im currently without a garage and working on cars outside in the frost, what workwear do you recommend for withstanding the cold?
Extreme cold. Thick thermals.
And actual workware. I’d go for Ballyclare trousers and a set of 4 bars gorka
