- A playthrough of Watch Dogs: Legion’s main campaign with Aiden Pearce (for most missions).
I cut out a bunch of stuff at the beginning so we can get to what you all came to see.

He's has Batman personality mixed with Jason Todd skill and antihero.
Only difference is he mourns for niece for years and only one that helped him in his mind to get better is his other niece.

If Aiden wasn’t the ‘protagonist’ of Watch Dogs Legion. I think Dalton Wolfe could’ve been a more suitable protagonist than the ones we find in the streets of London.
It would of been better if dalton survived and he recruited other people.

Using lethal weapons as Aiden in the main campaign after what happened in Bloodline feels a little ironic.
But aiden will always be aiden
But I hope you remember Aiden does not regret killing all those people.
The voice acting gap between Aiden's VA and regular characters is massive.
Just because he´s not speaking British English? lol, that´s why I got this Game in the first Place xD^^ And I did play the first WD too, two Times even. First on PS3, finished it on PC later...

I completed the entire game with Aiden and it proves that Ubisoft went in the wrong direction with this be anyone main character, the game was so much better when there is an anchor character and Aiden fit that pretty well, his dialogue in the main story fit very well, so Kudos to Ubi for going the extra mile and giving him unique dialogue.
There were a couple of inconsistencies with certain characters like claire, angel and sky Larson as Aiden has met them before in his campaign, but it looked in the main campaign they never met him before... but it is just a nitpick.
So I suggest everyone who got bored with the game at launch, try it again with Aiden.
The only downside you couldn't play as Aiden or Wrench in the tower of London part....... those of you who got to that point know what i am talking about.....

100% agree with this. Being able to play as anyone, while it’s a neat concept, really takes away from the emotional stakes of the story. When you focus on a single protagonist you get to see character growth, and become more invested in their struggle because they’re not just some random throwaway character that can be replaced. That’s not to say there’s really a lot of character growth with Aiden because of the way the story was structured before he was added, but I think the story would’ve been better had they focused on one protagonist rather than having any random off the street who is a blank slate that can just be slotted into the story.
They also could've had 3 playable characters GTA5 style - Aiden from WD1, Wrench from WD2 and a new character from London. That could've worked, too.
The entire game should have had only 3 playable characters IMO. Aiden, Marcus and Wrench.
It's sad to see how they obviously put a lot of resources into different voice lines for different random characters, yet what we really needed was Aiden, Wrench and the other characters from the previous games to make a comeback. What a waste.
@@ThePreciseClimberI would've accepted the spy character in the tutorial or a character u create be the main protagonist up until meeting Aiden and Wrech becoming 2 extra playable characters.

FYI YOU DONT GET TO USE AIDEN IN THE STORY WITHOUT THE SEASON PASS!, bloodline DLC owners are not entitled to playing as aiden or wrench in campaign
I tried getting the bundle that includes the season pass on Epic Games, but that bundle also includes Watch Dogs 1 which I already own so it's not letting me buy it. It's even like 60% off but it's not letting me buy it. So stupid.

Bro, when you play as Aiden, there's a conversation on Skye Larsen's mission, and Aiden says smth like: "Larsen better take care, cause Aiden Pearce is going after her" (Sorry, I'm Brazilian and played it in portuguese, I don't really know how is it in english, so I tried to translate that) and it's so fucking badass. The game got a thousand times better playing as Aiden
That was such a badass moment, and it made me really glad they gave Aiden some unique dialogue.
Sweet. Thanks for uploading this. I was dying to know if the voice actor for Aiden Pierce recorded the main campaign dialog lines or he was just a skin... so glad he did, it would have been so immersion breaking if it wasn't the main VA.
Now I may look into getting this... I learned a while ago to personally wait about a year on Ubi games now... they are so rushed now unfortunately
Thank you for watching! I agree, that would’ve been really immersion breaking and disappointing if they hadn’t brought Noam Jenkins back for Aiden. And yes, sad but true that a lot of Ubi games are rushed. It feels like it’s a quantity over quality business at this point.
@@L2Games Yep that my rule of thumb for most games unfortunately...... but waiting gives you a cheaper game and fixed game.
I was never interested in this game. I never liked the ''play as anybody'' gimmick, but now that you can play as Aiden from the start of the campaign and play him all the way through, including the DLC (I guess except for areas that require a specific person like a construction worker) I'm definitely looking at this game differently. I might still wait until there is some kind of complete edition with all DLC.
Same the play as anybody thing has always been so stupid to me and honestly everybody I’ve talked to about it
The recruit and play as anybody thing is more for the people who prefer to play on permadeath mode.

Watch dogs 1 in my opinion was the best just because of Aiden’s storyline.
I agree. It a had much stronger emotional core to the story, and in my opinion was the last great story in a Ubisoft game. Their shift in the last 10 years towards more player-driven, emergent narratives has been incredibly disappointing.
Would of been better if they reworked the game so the sections where you can only use a specific recruited, character for missions like the one where you need a construction worker to enter a site could all be played as Aiden, or Wrench.
This is exactly what I have been waiting for

@@TheyWantMeGone69Some might. In WD 2 during the side mission where you save Aiden, you find a recording where a criminal says Aiden went global after Chicago. It was either a record or it was Marcus saying it, I don't remember exactly.

I think Ubi recycled some other voice for Aiden's growls, meaning they probably had Aiden's VA give some of his voice samples so that they can implement it to the game using a text-to-speech algorithm. And they probably had some lines changed just to hide this. Im not saying this is bad, but it was lazy of Ubi to not replace the growls/groans with the actual impressions made by the VA

It sort of acknowledges it in some parts, in the sense that Aiden has his own unique dialogue in some cutscenes, but other characters never really acknowledge him. They didn’t remake the cutscenes or anything for him. And yes, he can die in permadeath mode.

@@lamson1990 Yes, canonically he is still alive, so if you’re holding out hope for a true Aiden sequel like I am, don’t worry.

I think ubisoft should’ve just pick Aiden Pearce and Wrench to be main characters . Because their stories in bloodline was understandable. The characters that need to be recruited in watch dogs legion I could not understand because they didn’t relate to the story.

Can you play through the entire game with Aiden? I only ever played the first watch dogs and I heard the other two games weren’t as good, mainly due to the absence of Aiden.
Yes you can, only if you have season pass
He does make a small cameo in Watch Dogs 2, and some other characters from the first game also appear in that game, like T bone who is a main character, and Jordy who becomes a character as part of the "Human Resources" dlc.
And if you can perform Stealth Reaper that would be great

Hey man, i don't know if you will read this or not, but can i ask you something? I bought the bloodline dlc and i can play it, but when play the main campaign aiden and wrech don't show up, do you know how to fix that?
If you bought only the Bloodline DLC, then unfortunately you can’t actually use Wrench or Aiden in the main campaign. You have to have the season pass to get them. I found that out the hard way by buying Bloodline and then still having to pay full price for the season pass.

@@randomcvt2112 Ah, damn, sorry man. Don’t know how to help in that case. They should be there outside of the Dedsec hideout to recruit. If you haven’t tried already, it might be worth reinstalling the game.

What part of the campaign or chapter do you get to recruit Aiden Pearce?
As soon as you’re able to start recruiting operatives after finishing the intro segment with Dalton Wolfe, you should be able to find Aiden and any other paid operatives outside of DedSec HQ.

first downloaded legion standard, played thru a couple of hours and then bought the season pass with aiden and wrench.
Everythings fine from here but now im in the main game i can NOT play as any of the -“season pass mentioned”- characters in the main game.
Can anyone help?😅
Did you bought the season pass in your main account?
If you reset the game do you lose them?
You’ll have to recruit them again if you restart, but you can get them pretty early on and they’ll just be outside the safehouse, so you won’t lose them permanently if you have the season pass.

The voice acting is really good on aiden with other npc characters game feels much worse too bad ubisuck put aiden behind paywall they could save the game if they just give aiden for free.

Yeah, there’s a bug where if you switch his hat it’ll take off his mask. Not sure if it’s been fixed yet.

Almost the entire game. You still have to play the intro with Dalton Wolfe, but after that, if you have the season pass, you can recruit and use Aiden and Wrench the whole way through.
