I actually really enjoy these reviews of the lesser known restaurants. You often see the same restaurants being reviewed on CZcams and I think it’s great that you are shining a light on these lesser known restaurants.

Going through all of your reviews and love them! One thought on Old Fashioneds... I agree with you that they're best served with a large cube. How funny though that large cubes have only become the gold standard within the last 10 years or so... for the 130 years before then, it was standard ice cubes or room temperature!

Back in about 2014 my brothers and I attempted to walk up to this place to eat there. The host asked if we had a reservation and I said no. He said sorry but they were full and couldn't take us. I could clearly see into the restaurant behind him that it was pretty empty, so I was completely puzzled. I pulled out my phone in front of him, went on the app, and made a reservation. Then said okay I have a reservation. He was then forced to sit us 😂 such a weird scenario

We ate here during my 50th birthday trip in 2021 and it was amazing, much better than we expected it would be. They didn’t have live music then, and I’m ok with that I don’t know what it wasn’t mariachi. I saw someone else review and they guy was playing Hotel California 😂totally off theme

What is your favorite Mexican restaurant off property? We love Agave Azul, both Kirkman and Windermere, but I've been to Rico's Tacos several times as well.
