I'm glad you're waiting on Woody's Roundup Rodeo BBQ. I know everyone wants to cover all the new restaurants and new events on day one, but like you said, you don't usually get the full experience on day one. They're usually still working out the kinks. That seemed to be the case here. People who didn't go on day one seemed to have the better experience. Plus when everyone goes on the same day, you end up getting 50 vlogs at once that all cover the same first day experience. What if the first day doesn't go well? I remember at one of the parties, Mickey's Not So Scary I think? Everyone vlogged on the first night, but the first night got rained out and they couldn't show half of what normally would have been offered. It would have been better if some people waited a week or even a few days. Sometimes it pays to wait or do things a little differently.

Nate, I understand exactly what you mean about walking around Epcot without a plan. I love doing that when I’m here solo. Today I spent 4 hours in the park then took the Skyliner to Riviera for lunch, then back to Epcot. Just a never-ending source of scenery and people watching.

Yes, we had a gator swimming under the boat dock at Wilderness Lodge while we were waiting for a boat to Magic Kingdom. Same year I saw my first snake inside Magic Kingdom while riding the train.
I did a resort only stay at the Coronado for Cinco de Mayo last year and I was great. The pool and hot tub are amazing, Dahlia Lounge was a great place to have a cocktail and watch the fireworks in the balcony and three bridges was a great place for dinner, especially if you are solo, cause you can just walk in and sit at the bar looking at the lake and the Gran Destino ❤
We liked the video, 'all over the place' as you said is good, it shows what you can do with some spare time. Really helpful to look at the Three Bridges, we hope to go there in the summer when we are over and hadn't considered this before
You are absolutely right. It is great to enjoy the parks just for the atmosphere. No attraction stress, just move around, maybe have a drink and just be happy.
Next time you are at Disneyland . . . Tortilla Jo's Table-side Guacamole at DT Disney . . . ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Fresh California avocados and peppers make it REALLY fresh and super yummy! You can tell them how much onion, spice, etc. It's AWESOME!!!
Our first family stay in Disney was at Coronado Springs, the OG resort. We stayed right near the first bus depot by check in. We loved the resort and I need to check out 3 Bridges bar.

I have stayed here 2 times in The Destino Tower I love the vibe there and 3 Bridges Bar and Grill has good food.
The "wind instruments" are called kinetic art (any artistic medium or decor that contains movement.. like pinwheels but on a much bigger scales!)
