Adventures of running man. Imagine not being a story character and all you see is him running past you multiple times in 1 hour and then 1 hour later, boom barrier is gone lol.

I spent dozens of hours on every of my playthroughs as a kid on this game. Now to see it being completed within 2 hours is awe inspiring. Keep up the good work!

Hey Saradoc, nice speedruns, they really reflamed my interest in playing the game. How do i get that nice game timer in the top left corner? Is that a mod or accessible via console? Also, do you have a commented speedrun uploaded where you explain what you do and why, it is at times very hard to follow and understand whats going on.

@@spokeshave5415luck I guess. Or they didn't know what to do 😂 too many of them were trying to attack, and I think in Gothic only one or two enemies can attack the player at the same time.
isnt gathering all ulu-mulu ingredients near swamp camp faster? iirc there's troll spawning in the forest so it might work idk

Is lunging a default ability? Why was he sometimes jumping, sometimes just running?
Are any of the transformations or other spells mandatory?
lunging is the acrobatics skill learned in the new camp 5:37. Running is a time limited effect from haste potions. Only one transformation is mandatory to complete the game 59:17, but the runner uses them for time saving
I don't understand why double experience from NPCs or using sword to get past guards is not counted as glitch (or other things). I know it is mentioned in rules as allowed but why? Isnt it clearly a glitch?
Using a sword to get past guards is banned. Any time I use it in the run I already I have permission to enter and only skip a dialogue. For example Lee's guards never stop you and Thorus lets you enter the castle and orebaron house due to the weed delivery quest.
Double XP is a very irrelevant thing. It would change nothing if it was banned.
@@LordSaradoc skipping dialog does seem like a glitch use. especially when we are talking about speed.

You can only take out the weapon, if the guards don't stop you. You get permission to enter the ore baron house with the swampweed delivery quest.
how do you acrobatic long jump consistently? my character half of the time does default jumping animation with a roll at the end.
nvm, i got it. character performs long jump when he steps on his left leg and performs a short default jump when he steps on his right leg. this is ridiculous....

Hi, how goblins are not attacking you? When im trying to kill troll they instantly have agro on me, but they don't attack you.
The goblins have to be lured away from the troll. You need correct movement and also luck for it to work.

56:21 Mit welcher Tastenkombination kann man 1000 Stück auf einmal nehmen? Ich dachte 100 wären maximum.
Wenn du F8 drückst, verschiebst du 1000, auch mit F7 100, F6 10, F5 1 und mit F1-F4 wechselst zu zwischen den 4 Fenstern beim Handeln.

I just played Gothic 1, great game. Urschak told me that the Ulumulu is nice to have but not necessary. So why bother with the quest at all in a speedrun?
You need Ulu-Mulu to enter chapter 5 and only in chapter 5 do the switch and teleport scroll to get into the Sleeper's Temple work.
I met Urschak without the Ulumulu in front of the bridge. He told me I could do without and there was an new quest in the journal. I haven't tried but went for the Ulumulu. Maybe you need it after all.
Why do you do all the story, if you can morph into mosquito and fly into sleepers temple at any time?
Is that required by some rules of "Glitchless Speedrun"?
Yes, the intended methods - teleport scroll or figurine - are coded to only work in chapter 5+.
There's also "No Major Glitches" that doesn't have this restriction and is 20 minutes long.
