  • This crash course guide is intended for people unfamiliar with Swordsoul or are seeing it for their first time in Master Duel. Keep in mind, this is only a basic guide. The skill ceiling on this deck insane, and the ways you can combo the Tenyi cards with your Swordsoul cards are way more complicated than this video makes them out to be.
    To see real advanced Swordsoul gameplay, check out Pak, one of the best players in the game, in this and his other videos. You will see things you never thought possible with Swordsoul: • HOW TO PLAY SWORDSOUL ...

    Swordsoul DPE: ygoprodeck.com/swordsoul-dpe/

    There is one Swordsoul variant I didn't talk about, the Denglong variant. I wasn't familiar with the variant when I made the video, but it didn't seem like that version took off anyways. Here is Pak going over what that version does here: • TIER 1 MASTER DUEL DEN...

    This is an EXCELLENT video! To the point, gives you different lines and options, and doesn't assume people know all the monster effects especially since SS just came out in MD. I would welcome any other archetype breakdown in this format and hope to see more!

      @@LamesAMA There's a lot of despia dpe atm you could do one on that.
      Otherwise I'd happily watch one for any meta deck such as drytron, tribrigade, eldlich etc. For returning players which is a lot of masterduel viewers, there are a lot of combos to learn how to use or break

      @@hiimroo3120 I'm absolutely gonna do Despia, but I'm waiting until they get the rest of their new cards like Branded Fusion. I've already started working on that script.

    As a new player who got into yugioh due to Master Duel and bought my very first TCG deck, comprehensive vids like this are a blessing. I've said this in other comments, but since this video is doing insanely well, I'm going to be making more guides of this type.
    I primarily want to cover meta stuff that you're likely to see on ladder. I'll be covering Floowandereeze, Despia, the Adventure package, and BASED as these decks become playable. Until then I need more content, so what decks already in the meta would you like to see videos on in the mean time?

    • @shwedoo-6035
      @shwedoo-6035 Před 2 lety +3

      I think a very interesting deck to cover would be phantom knights. They have so many ashable cards and effects and a lot of the times when you dpe their links they still end up building a decent board.

    • @shwedoo-6035
      @shwedoo-6035 Před 2 lety +1

      Also, IDS is an interesting option to cover. I play it right now, but it looks like I'm changing my deck every day and have no real grasp of what I need the most. Some people play el shaddoll fusion, some don't. Some only play 3 shaddolls and rely on dogmatikas to give them access to shaddoll fusion, but to me winda looks like their strongest win condition against the meta and if you can't reliably make her turn one then what's the point? So, I would really appreciate input from a more experienced player.

    Another common way to Access Yazi is to Pitch an Ashuna for LongYuan effect from hand and then use the Ashuna in grave while LongYuan and the token are on field to summon an Adhara from deck. You can then use LongYuan(6) + Adhara(1) to make Yazi. Mind you, you are wyrm locked after Ashuna's effect.
    The advantage of this line is that it wins vs Infinite Impermanence like effects.
    It plays well into ChiXiao, Infinite Impermanence and Effect Veiler while also Forcing out a Blackout if they have no other way to deal with your LongYuan from hand.
    Yazi can then pop a card, summon a Tai-A from deck. Your opponent still cannot Infinite Impermanence your Tai-A because you still have the token on a field from LongYuan.
    To extend even further use Tai-A effect to banish LongYuan from grave(optionally from this point onward you can use Adhara to Add LongYuan from Banish). Summon Baxia using Tai-A and one of your tokens. Chain link 1 Tai-A mill Mo-Ye, Chain link 2 Baxia target two cards. Then summon Mo Ye from grave using Baxia to 2nd pop the Token or Itsself, reveal the LongYuan you added from banish and summon a token. Then go into any synchro 8 or ChiXiao, chainblock draw with MoYe and add a Blackout or Emergence for follow up.
    You now destroyed 1 card while untargettable by imperm like effects, spun 2 back from the deck, recursed LongYuan back from hand. Add any Swordsoul card (or Wyrm by using Emergence while ChiXiao is on field) and got a free draw.
    Many more lines like this out there, enjoy your wins bros!

    • @LamesAMA
      @LamesAMA  Před 2 lety

      @@eNRiskmc I think I've only dark locked someone with Chaofeng once in my life. Bruh thats one of the best "how to play a deck" I have ever seen, new players gonna love it also do play DPE since it locks you to Hero monsters so if you not feeling confident with this deck this can screw your plays

    I much prefer this style of learning over just memorizing combo lines. Great job and thank you.

    Thank you for this! I want to build a swordsoul deck so this was insanely helpful. Though besides that, I run into them a lot and generally lose myself in thinking what to destroy or ash. I am now playing shaddoll dogmatika invoked deck and winda once again seem to end their turn immediately, if they don't have an appropriate hand trap ofc or chalice.

      I'm also running IDS until I get the crafting material to finish my build. There are some hands that out Winda (Vishuda+Adhara) but its generally really tough. It's a fun matchup imo, Chengying is insanely hard to out though. Usually have to make Verte, turn Chengying to dark, and send a Superpoly to make Starving Venom.

      @@LamesAMA Yeah, I can see that being an issue, especially because he is water so not even schism will work on him lol.

    You forgot about the best combo of the deck, teny --> monk --> pass turn, still very fine video Bro! Congrats!

    Lotta FGC music, hearing that MVC3 theme at the end was neat.

    Great video, really nice to know when to interrupt Swordsoul combos. As for recommendations, maybe Tri-Brigade (specifically beating it)? Since it's a lot of sending things to the graveyard, I have difficulty preventing them from continuing their combos.
