I have watched your builds since DoS2. I want you to say that to know people check out for your stuff. Keep doing your thing and supporting cprgS + Larian. P.S. Raphael has the same fate as the Adramahlihk being a dummy haha.
on mine i do 5 lvls barb then 4 lvls rougue thiev for extra bonus action feat and sneakattack then 3 lvls fighter champion to get action surge and higher crit chance an he showed the gear. tavern brawler as your first feat is most important tho. and the gloves he has are actually better than helldusks since they count as addidinal throwing damage and reapply you strenth modifier again.
That’s because the entire game even on tactician is easy. I haven’t taken damage in two playthroughs. Raphael is one of the harder bosses; rest is a joke. That’s why he’s meta tested.
i hv been building multiple ranger (not the class) with dual xbows, bow and throw weapon. can confirm barb with throw weapon is the best ranger so far.
@@axiosespada7651 haha yea and also cries when having low armor but need to be close to enemy. for late game though throw weapon build, hv none of this issue especially when u illithid fly.
Because I didn't see it mentioned in the description: theres a potion of everlasting vigor in act 2 that gives +2 strength. The way you obtain it is by talking to the drow at moonrise tower that collects blood while astarion is in your party. I'm not sure if this can be stacked with the mirror of loss +2 however for 24 STR, I'm not quite that far yet on my playthrough. Will try it when I get there and maybe edit this comment unless someone else replies with the right answer
This absolutely can be stacked, my monk astarion is like that and it's so fucking busted. He literally jumps further than misty step! And the punches are insane! Best consistent dpr by far!
scarlet remittance is from the dagger you get from killing cazador. its +3 to all damage and attack rolls and it stays even after you unequip. super op
yep, mirror buff +2 any stat. I give it to my frontliners so they can use bloodlust instead of giant hill. That way i can haste + greater invis my backliners for maximum CC. All that crit gear is not needed when you can cast 6 hold monster/person that guarantee crits. Benefits of a party :)
I don't understand how you have so many actions, especially when you keep throwing the spear, sometimes it looks like you don't even consume an action. I'm aware of Haste and Action Surge but I feel like I'm still missing something.
Yes, improved crit bonus is shared among weapons. It works the other way around too if you use a Ranged weapon and have Knife of the Undermountain King & Bloodthirst equipped.
Can you add the showcase (formula) of exactly what's going on inside the piercing damage part of this? I get that Tavern brawler multiplies something that it shouldn't, i just wonder what exactly.
It's almost entirely coming from Bhaalist Armor. 1d8 +3 from the weapon, +12 from Tavern Brawler with the weapon, 1d4 from Ring of Fling, 1d4 from Gloves of Kushigo is all piercing damage. Bhaalist Armor makes enemies vulnerable to piercing, so take all that dmg and multiply it by two...
combat log numbers and missing HP on Raphael are not in sync for sure, althought, I was sure ever since release, that Larian did a very shitty job with combat log anyway (why couldnt they copy WoTR)
It's one of the unintended interactions of the build, i mention of it in the video description. BG3 is full of them atm, so depends on how Larian deal with balancing, TB Throwing build won't be as strong if they decided to patch things seriously.
I used an insanely busted monk build that did 80 dmg per hit against this boss when i first entered act 3 i think i could have solo’d him completely if i had gotten the last 2 levels of fighter in
@@TitoVespasianus Per throw and you are almost everytime hasted so 8 throws. 3x8 = 24, ok that is like 25% of yours HP in one turn. You hurt your party members more then enemies. OFC you can build party around it with doulbe crossbows and sorcs, warlocks etc. withotu melee or with res to thunder dmg, but still pretty meh. You can have similar if not better sigle target dmg or better AoE with different builds. And path is not blocked, cause he fights in interiers where is no visible ceiling.
Wait is this the song for his fight? Sounds so devilishly Disney villainous. Props to Larian
raphael literally sings his own theme song opera style. that's the most raphael thing to do.

Yea
First time i got goosebumps!

The music is so epic
Sayless throw more! thanks for sharing this kit.
I didn't realize you could get a surprise round on this fight.
Wish this game had new game+ mode
We really need more builds from u)
Love you sin
Dude you broke teh game again 😂
We love Karlach so much!
Raphael only exists to test the meta builds 😂

speechless, that was an amazing ride just like your dos2 videos.

the best is warrior with watchers crossbow. He deals huge damage, dont need special perks, make 12 atack in the first round - all with special arrows
Not true. You should watch what he did with astarion and dual crossbows vs viconia.
please a new playthrough solo bard or barbarian. Your gameplays are wonderful

this fight took me 4 tries on normal my first time through
martial characters are truly something else in this game huh
i like that it's mostly filled with act 1 & 2 items

It does great dmg, but damages your whole party if path is not blocked. Melee barb is just better.
Wut
The Nyrulna AOE? it's just 3~12 thunder dmg.
