Daniel Willis I don’t know the exact percent but a large percentage of Cudi’s lyrics are about dealing with issues detrimental to ones mental health; depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, contemplating suicide but instead of just saying things like “I wanna kill my self” he goes in depth with his lyrics and a lot of people can relate to him and I know for me at least help them not feel so alone. Nigo is a real legend and a backbone of streetwear society. As I would say equivalent to his peers such as Jun Takahashi, Takahiro Miyashita, Tetsu Nishiyama etc . Really blessed to see him on Complex. His sense of "dressing" totally live in generation Y's DNA. God bless Nigo and Cudi.

I can’t even BEGIN to explain my love and thankfulness for Cudi. Adults ask me what kind of music I listen to expecting me to say Ariana Grande or Billie Eilish and like I do still listen to them but here’s the thing; they’re always shocked when I say I listen to Kid Cudi. They always say “Wow how do you know who that is? This was a good international and multicultural interview. Great concept that merge both sides of the world and various creative spaces.
