Welcome back, I’m Sean, End of last year, Earfun released the Free Pro 3, which was a very impressive earbuds with all of the feature we’re looking for in an earbuds, but how does it compare with the latest release from Earfun, the Earfun Air 2. So today we’re going to compare the 2 earbuds here to see which one is the better buy in 2024. Let’s check it out!

I own the Earfun Air Pro 3's and the new 'Air 2' look like they simply replaced the more expensive Qualcomm ANC capable SoC (and expensive 6-mic array) in Air Pro 3 w/ a cheaper non-ANC chip? They also reduced the driver by 1mm but mostly kept everything else from the Air Pro 3? If so, that would bode well for the Air 2's overall sound quality & battery performance. The Air Pro 3 is a SOLID performer for a VERY budget "flagship" which can be had for under $70 USD on sale. I would suggest ppl just wait for one of EarFun's FREQUENT sales and grab the Air Pro 3 instead of either of these two models for basically the same price. I paid like $63 for mine. But I'm also not surprised the new Air 2 sound MUCH better than the Free Pro 3 since the Air 2 probably shares much of the Air Pro 3's internals, including the huge battery. (11mm/10mm/7mm drivers - Air Pro3/Air 2/Free Pro 3). The slightly smaller 10mm drivers in the Air 2 might even help tame the somewhat muddy sub-bass, the narrow soundstage, and muted highs delivered by Air Pro 3's 11mm drivers. I suppose the only thing I really dislike about the Air Pro 3 are the TINY, touch targets on the upper stem. They are difficult to tap accurately when running or when wearing gloves. So the question I have, does the Air 2 share this same touch design weakness??? WHERE EXACTLY IS the touch pad on the new Air 2? Is the entire stem touch sensitive? Just the upper half, or just a tiny section up top??? If the entire stem is touch sensitive that would be ideal for exercising. Other than that, I really like all the intangibles EarFun offers that other manufacturers (and reviewers) just gloss over. FULL CONTROLS is huge!! Most buds make you pick from a pre-defined menu of controls. They don't make ALL controls avail simultaneously... like you either get Volume or you get ANC controls... or you get ANC/hear-thru toggling but NOT Voice Assistant... always a compromise. And most mfgrs certainly don't give you 100% customization to remap EVERY-SINGLE-TAP-COMBO to any arbitrary command. EarFun allows it.

well, if you are bass head then you will love them , but it's true if you are focus on highs and treble
for me neither as well because of them the ear irritating is haunting me for months
