Thanks the bite has been hot on the beach. The main thing to notice is the fish slicks on the water. If you don’t see bait and fish slicks (looks like oil on the water) then the fish are not there
I’ll be going to dauphin island first week of august. Trying to catch something I can eat. Fished freshwater my whole life. Need tips on bait. What do you like to eat that is caught most frequently.. bait ?
I change it up based on what the fish are responding too Check out this video for the slick lure czcams.com/video/2myW5BwwYiw/video.html for the catch 2000 I use a twitch pause twitch twitch pause. I change up the rhythm to see what the fish respond too.

I live in Mobile and I know the beach. We were fishing there in the 70$ and 80$ & 90$ then well I haven't been there in too long but I enjoyed it.

You can still find trout on the beach. But they are starting to transition into the rivers in October

White trout and ground mullets can be caught very regularly on the beaches and they taste pretty good
What retrieves are you using for the Slick and the Catch 2000? I’m still trying to learn for both of them.
