I look at rap freestyle the same way I look at improvised guitar solos... Of course he is gonna have some rehearsed bars and some filler materials set aside in his head for if he gets stuck in a spot, but that doesn't make it any less freestyle than when s guitar player plays his favorite licks or their pre-practiced licks in the middle of an improvised solo. Hope that makes sense... I'm a guitar player so it aligns perfectly for me. lol
