this song is like a triple. It clearly references the attitude of Europeans and the colonialism but they land in a boat that is often seen in relation to refugees trying to cross the sea from Africa to Europe. It came out around the time where some groups in Germany were speaking against refugees and them coming to Germany. Other people also see a relation to the booming sex tourism of Western Countries visiting places in Asia to get laid specifically.
Also there is a making of of this song which is really interesting. The natives are not tribe people but their ancestors were and they were talking about how it was also an experience for them to kind of take the role of their ancestors in this one.

Rammstein all have great comedic timing. Keine Lust official video is funny like this, too, and all the guys are equally hilarious in it. As one of "those people" I am so glad you watched Auslander!! :)

This is always a crowd favorite at live shows bc it's just so bouncy! When I was a teen...b4 you were born, I worked at a gift shop named Ausland, Lmt. I used to win prize money for the entry and window displays I'd create. One year (b4 anyone else) I hung a small Xmas tree upside down with crystal "icicles" and white lights hanging down...my memories are cooler than that sounded, I promise.

And yes, the white kid in the end is the child of the drummer Schneider i believe. Some of the props are actual tribal, the tribe people are actors. Theres a behind the scenes video on this.

Cool reaction, but in my opinion, it's more than just a pure fun video. I can see a bit of judgment on colonization in there... Also some commentary on super-light occasional relationships... Behind the catchy song, there are always some layers...

there are colonizer nods there, but one argueably more immediate and currently relevant topic, especially through the "gone the next morning" lines, would be sex tourism ... one more interpretation anyways.
I think the "I am not a man for a night, a few hours at best" is more about pound and leave town. Like a rockstar. In those situations it's not so much a victim as an opportunist, not that I have seen anyone act like Flake's woman chasing the bus. That would have been sad.
