“Alright let’s get right into it”
The best way to start a video - by far.
VTSAX is my favorite
New subscriber here and I love this crowd. Love how everyone talks about their favorite investments portfolios. 👏👏
You’re awesome bro! Thanks for this free education that I would otherwise have had to pay someone to get.
Thank you!!!!
This is excellent 👌🏻
What percentage of VTIAX do you guys recommend? I like 20%, but I also like VTWAX and letting the global market cap weighting doing it for me.
Very, very well put together. Informative and straightforward.
In the UK, I’ve just invested in VUSA and VWRL, adding small but regular amounts to my fund. I’ve a third ETF in the UK FTSE 100. It’s a 40/40/20 (ish) split. I would appreciate some feedback on this. Love the videos, your calm, clear and concise approach to investments and sensible financial management.
Excellent overview! Thank you and so helpful….
Great choices. I am also a fan of VGT and VWIGX for a more aggressive portfolio
How about fidelity
I have everything at Fidelity, however I found the information in this video very helpful/informational
There are parallel index funds at Fidelity
Thanks for the video!
Which are the equivalent Vanguard ETFs that are available for people outside the US? 🤷🏻♂️
I know only that VOO = VUSD
Great review. Thank you. Who knows which segment of the market will reign supreme in the future. Therefore, I have my 10 year old’s investment 25% each in VB, VO, VOO and VXUS. We have other things for fun, like AAPL and PEP, but his core is the four ETFs.
Target date fund = 🐐
Not sure if you reply to comments but I love your videos! Even created a brokerage account and got the VTSAX. I went on to use this for my 401k but turns out I’m limited in options. There’s a standard S&P 500 fund I put it into for a low fee but not sure how different it is from the other desired VFIAX (also not approved 401k fund at my employer) looking for clarity or idea how to mimick it per-se
Hey Tae, what do you think about the Vanguard Health Fund? VHT used in combination with VTI
First off, it's in poor taste to simply answer a question with a question while promoting your channel. Additionally, you have not answered my question so I will definitely Not check your channel due to the generic copy-and-paste nature of the way you're attempting to highjack the popularity of Tae's video. Try 1st answering the person's question and actually provide quality that's how the game is played.@Wealthwisecapital1
I'll say yes If there's ever another pandemic, until then just stick to VTI.
VOO has outperformed VTI basically every year. Slight difference, but still better. I'm in both, but heavier in VOO now after comparing the funds.
Ah just got to that point in the video
For now. But over-reliance on US leaves you over-exposed and you’ll miss International gains
@DefenestrateYourself yeah that's a bit of a misnomer. SP500 businesses do lots of international business, so they get plenty of exposure. International businesses also don't have to be held to the same standards for bookkeeping. Also, there is always conversion expenses with international funds. I'm content letting the current gains spike up my portfolio and then just letting dividends sustain me during dry periods.
VOO is my ETF bae

Awesome
Nice 😊
The best Vanguard Etf is VOO. VOO is enough.
That and a good bond fund if you're older
Nope too concentrated and you’ll completely miss the growth of every other country in the world.
Creation of the Total US stock market index fund.
What is the best strategy when investing index fund or ETF? Do I buy every month and hold for years or? I am just lost…
Is dividend yield included in the stated return rates?
Yes. It's called total return which presumes reinvestment of dividends
How about fidelity?
Fidelity has equivalent index funds.
What is the difference between an index fund and an ETF
Does VFIAX also drop companies that aren’t doing so good like VTSAX does?
Does VTSAX drop any companies? It's supposed to be the total stock market.
As for VFIAX, yes it is "self cleansing"
VTSAX is where ALL of my investable assets go. Any other money I have goes into the Vanguard settlement fund for my emergency fund and future purchases
Nice, can you share the vanguard settlement fund ticket?
VTSAX and chill 👌
Why not VOO?
@@DanielSuarez-zn8iw too concentrated. Doesn’t capture small and mid caps like VTSAX does
How about BRK-B. I’m loving the Oracle of Omaha and hope he loves to 100 😊
Berk b is not a vanguard fund, not diversified enough for this videos purpose
Amazing video. Thanks!
VGT
Great video! I am still curious about the reasons to invest in one of these funds rather than the VOO ETF. How they are similar/different. Thoughts?
VOO tracks the same index as the VFIAX. Generally tracking and performing the same, the index fund allows you to set up automatic investments whereas the etf does not; you have to purchase it manually. The index funds often have a nominal minimum to invest and may have a .01% higher fee.
@cschweitzer6882 just was on the phone with a Vanguard rep yesterday and he did say they are in process if making ETFs possible to auto invest
@@cschweitzer6882well not exactly. You can set up automatic investments through a brokerage in any ETF. I do it every week.
VOO💪🏼
How do you invest in the Funds?
Using money
I have 6-7 ETFs and several stocks and even 3-4 cryptos through Robinhood.
8:27 VTWAX is a little less diversified than the two-fund stock portfolio of VTSAX & VTIAX
Negligible
3:11 I’m afraid that 2021-2023 period is one of the unusually exceptional periods where bonds have failed to counteract stock market crashes.
What if you don’t have the minimum investment?
Why did VIGAX / VUG not make this list?
VTSAX and relax
How's qqq
Retired for over 10 years and want to invest about 10k which is best choice
VOO
I’m not sure how to get in touch with you.
@4:17 although a very good presentation I see no reason to invest in International focused funds. Why risk such low long term returns when a US focused index based fund is so much better. I’ve been in the market since 1988 right after the 87 crash. Good luck folks.
Should you invest in Vanguard Target Retirement Fund in a non retirement account if you already have it in a ROTH IRA?
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my whole life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Margaret Bryant.
I invest with Margaret Bryant too, she charges a little commission on profit made after every trading session which is fair compare to the effort she put in to make huge profits.
This is not the first time i am hearing of Margaret Bryant and her exploits in the trading world but i have no idea how to reach her.
She often interacts on her verified Telegrams, using the user name written below
@ BRYANT4 💯 ..that's it
Thanks Jennifer for the recommendation
Vug
Small cap value has better expected returns, not mega cap growth.
I love VUG
vgt
Almost all
My money is in VOO and VGT
Based on market cap, your allocation should be 60% US and 40% international
Really, if the us falls so does everyone, and foreign companies rarely
Match the USA
These bond fund are well worse than inflation. Your safer and richer just investing in TBILL or other treasury funds, buying treasuries, or BMO alto paying over 5 percent if you’re scared
Vanguard great but website stinks❤
Yeah, they can improve a lot, especially when compared to Fidelity.
I agree. As a new investor is ridiculously confusing
For sure! I buy their funds through other platforms for this reason lol
The app’s good
I’m all in $VFIAX
VBIAX
