- Chill and watch this PC build in the Fractal Design Ridge ITX case with a White Strix GPU! Make sure to stick around til the end because this is a good one!
Please comment with your questions and I will answer them.
This case is very easy to build in. It looks good too! GPU temps are amazing, but CPU temps are not that good. You should only use up to a Core i7, or a Ryzen 7 CPU in this case. The CPU cooler height is limited to 70mm, which results in less than stellar temps. I would suggest installing two PCI-E power cables into the GPU instead of one like I did here. Overall, this is a good first SFF case to build in. You can even install some RGB fans in it!
Which case should I build in next? Let me know!

Temps & benchmarks are in the description! What should we build in next?
How about building with parts like Intel 12th gen and DDR5 in Fractal torrent or Cooler master cases
@@mamdouhfaheemjr.5457 12th gen is coming up!
One of "if not" the best aesthetically, pleasing, good looking, PC build videos on the whole platform
Glad to see a new vid from you! Some of my favorite pc build videos on youtube
The king has returned! Big fan of your builds / Videos!
Great video! Can’t wait to see what you build next
Great build. Been sitting on my Ridge case for some time. Time to start the build...
great vid as always! what an interesting case I had not seen it before.
Wow. Good work and an immersive video. Both makes it pure joy to watch. ❤❤❤
That cable management is cleaner than my house. Great video
I know nothing but want one now. Good job.
Oh this vid hit right. Loved the music too very chill
Great Case, Great Build, Great Montage 😂👍
Quality montage.🔥
Beautifulll 🔥
Stuck in a spot where switching to a mini itx case would mean needing a new motherboard which would mean needing a new cpu and such. Gotta get the money up for that
This was asmr video to me , addition to inspiring me to do the the same ❤
Best wishes 🙏
2nd build I've seen with this case, now I have the itch.
thanks for the video! the fractal homepage and manual do not list stand offs for the motherboard as included in the package. from what I can see in the video the standoffs are already preinstalled in the case. is that correct?
I would like to build this as my rig next to my tv to play my steam games on.
this is true mini itx case👍
One question: do the fans in front of the gpu fans serve an airflow purpose? Or are they just there for some rgb bling?
Both!
Nice video.
I see you switched the Corsair fans from left to right side (in front and later in the video behind the gpu)
Edit: no, you disassembled them?
Beautiful build but I'm not too sure about adding fans in front of gpu fans.
Nice
why not the nh-l12s for the cpu cooler?
Could you build in the fractal north xl?
Can I use it horizontally? Will i have heat dissipation issue? Thanks.
where did you buy the Big Shuriken 3 Rev.B? cant find it anywhere online in NA
Shuriken is amazing, and can handle superb 65W cpu. An i9 is a bit overkill but it's ok, none is here to run cpu stresstest everyday ahaah.
I was very impressed with the Big Shuriken! Gaming temps were decent even with the i9.
how do you think a 12600KF would fair?
If i use an i5 cpu will the cpu temps be better? Planning on building on this case.
CPU temps should definitely be improved!
would this fit an matx board?
any issues with overheating? so many cables jammed at the PSU exhaust
it looks way over stuffed.
only concern about this built is dust only front cover i guess have dust filter so how we solve this problem ? also its good for high tdp cpus or we should get more like i7-i5 type a cpu because i use sugo 13 and that case take lot of dust and thermals are not good even i use aio cooler.
since everything is easily accessible dust is no problem since you can carry it out quickly and blow it then youre good to go
everything about this case is nice but what i dont like is it has a millions of screws lol
Where did you get the white case. Been trying to get one.
B&H Photo
one question, is the cpu fan in the right direction? 🤔
why wouldn't it.. it has to blow over the cpu.. build pressure over the cooling fins.
sucking air don't work, that reduces the pressure and less air molecules = less heat transfer.
But Shuriken seems to be interfering with the SSD cooler?
It JUST fits without interfering with anything!
jo man can u please help me i really want this case but i want it with a 240mm or 280mm radiator for my cpu and i want a grapics card in it so if i do a 280 aio and a 3080 or 3070ti is that possible witht the space😬😬 please me know i really hope thats possible man becouse all other cases i dont like i want this one really
you can fit any 2slot card basically maybe not a 3080, and no aio’s can fit in this case at all
Will it fit in my backpack? Would like to see
No, it is larger than node 202.
I don't understand why there should be additional fans right in front of GPU...
LGBT light)
My concern is with the horizontal orientation and the GPU being upside down. GPU fans will have to draw heat away blowing down on the table. I wished they provided an option to mount the GPU flipped over with a long PCI riser cable. Both the CPU and GPU would be blown above and out.
GPU fans suck the air in och exhaust on the rear or the case, no?
Does the gpu riser problem still persist? i loved this case but the gpu riser problem really make me considering other cases.
I did not have a problem with mine. I am running PCI-E 3.0 though.
Why do recommend two PCI-E cables for the gpu in the description instead of one as shown in the video
Ein glühender Kasten😂
You didn't show how you hooked the fans up
I did show it. 1 -> 2 fan splitter plugged into the chassis fan header on the motherboard. Then the RGB connectors plugged into the Corsair Lighting Node Pro RGB hub.
gg
nice build, but i think rgb looks out of place here
Смешно уложил кабеля напротив выдува бп. Я думаю что недостаточно плотно. Надо плотнее укладывать.
Absolutely would not stick an i9 in this. Modern intel cpus gobble up power like pigs and spit it out as the world's smallest space heater
Installs cpu cooler, immediately blocks it with RAM
haf!!!!!!!!!
