    Great presentation! I noticed that you are purchasing a 2021 Newmar New Aire. So I've decided to go back in time to see how and why you decided to purchase the Allegro Breeze 31BR. I am looking at both Luxury Models, the Breeze, the New Aire and the Ventana. My final decision is pending until I viewed your videos and what problems you encountered. See you at the next Breeze video. Best, Steve from Western Mass

    I agree with your devotion to private owned companies. Tiffins and Newmar are two of the major players in the RV industry that are not publicly traded. I saw that video from Mount Comfort and wondered if that was the one you bought. We have camped at the KOA for years and remember when the dealership was much smaller.

    Do you guys use the driver and passenger seat for your tv viewing? What’s the comfort level of those seats? That’s a stumbling block for me........not sure...

    • @rvamericayall
      @rvamericayall  Před 3 lety

      Hey Fred! Yes, we use the driver and passenger seats for TV viewing. They are pretty comfortable. You can recline a bit, not a whole lot, but some. The passenger seat has an electric foot rest. The driver seat does not, so we carry a small ottoman. They won't make us forget our old Lazy Boy recliners from our sticks and bricks days, but they're not uncomfortable.

    Howdy. We just started fulltiming in a 26ft Winnebago View 24V on a Sprinter diesel chassis. We are mostly road tripping and wanted the smallest we could fulltime in. We do a mix of Boondocking, dry camping in National Parks and RV Parks especially when it’s too Hot and we need to run the AC. We don’t have a Toad.

  • @n1spirit
    @n1spirit Před 4 lety

    I'm glad I stumbled across this older vid (it auto-played as I let CZcams just do its thing). This MAY very well be what makes me change my mind about whether to get a toy hauler 5th wheel or a diesal pusher RV. (I still don't like the idea of riding a big bike up into the bed of a truck to use as a toad but... maybe. LOL) When I had my Class C I loved being IN THE vehicle so that I could make a quick stop and use the facilities or make something to eat or drink easily, as opposed to having to walk back to a TT or 5er that was typically really hot, etc. The downside of an RV of course is if you have problems that require it to be in the shop for a bit and they won't let you live in it while they're working on it (which isn't very common). Fifth wheels have appealed to me because of their size BUT that's also something that works against us because I enjoy staying in state parks and overnighting in places where, typically, you cannot get into easily or at all with a larger rig. It's a devil's conundrum because I like my space but I also like being in mother nature. (Really dislike those crowded RV parks.) Your rig has the power, being a diesel, and it's short enough that you can still get into a lot of those spots that larger rigs cannot. I LOVE the opposing slides that give you so much space inside. (I totally understand about the issue of getting into the bays outside when the slides are out. If I choose something like this you can just take odds with one another as to how long it'll be before I knock myself senseless. Just hope I'm not set up next door to you when it happens cause the "sailor dictionary" will come off the shelves at that moment. OMG! MAKE SURE Grammy Kay isn't 'round when THAT happens! hahahah.) BTW, speaking of grammy, tell her she's adorable and I LOVED those dance moves. She makes me smile every time that I see her in the videos. 😊 Okay! I'm going to go watch the video tour of the new rig. It really looks beautiful and I have seen some of it in your more recent videos-- but still, gotta see the tour. LOL. Save travels and happy camping, y'all! Blessings be upon each of you.

    I just watched the RV CZcams that Chris put out. I was like 8 months ago..it's gone. Then I watched your video next. It just rolled on, and I recognized the coach you bought. I knew all the goodies you got. The tip was the seat covers then the rug. You really lucked out on this used Tiffin. The previous owners were great. I bought a Class C 31 foot Gulf Stream 2018. Thanks for the very informative video. We presently purchased our first RVand it was a new 2021 Thor Freedom Adventure 30 A. With only 705 miles on it we have had five things go wrong from an engine light to a none functioning slide. Our first camping weekend was cut in half and we had to cancel the balance of the trip. It has been at the dealerships for half of our 4 week ownership so far.
    So I am shopping for a Tiffin Allegro Breeze 31 br at present.
    I am looking for reliability.

    I have been looking at Allegro Breeze diesel motorhomes. The ones I have seen have the 2 house batteries under the entry step. Did you leave yours there? Did you relocate and added batteries? If you have this would make a good video! Did you add solar?

      Hi Hugh! First of all, we love our Breeze! Ours came with 4 house batteries: 2 under the step and one on each side of the generator. (A strange setup). We bought it used and the 1st owner had added 320 watts of solar.

    The other feature of this coach I really love is the AIR LEVELING. I know of no other coaches anywhere close to this price point have this feature. Even with other Tiffins, you don't get air leveling in the Open Road, RED, Phaeton. Doesn't show up again until the Bus. The closest competitor to your Breeze (Newmar New Aire) doesn't have air leveling...once you have the air leveling, there's no going back to hydraulic...

    • @rvamericayall
      @rvamericayall  Před 5 lety

      Very good point, Daniel! We like the air leveling also. How long have you had your Breeze?

    • @dmorean
      @dmorean Před 5 lety

      Just a few months. I was looking for a '14 or '15 Breeze 28 (the largest vehicle that would fit in my old barn thanks to it being 6" narrower and only 11'2" tall). In '14, the Breeze got independent front suspsension which is on my must-have list. I also saw the you tube video for your Breeze...I was tempted for a minute to buy it but you beat me to it! I'm going to do a small addition to my barn so I can get a 33 BR in a year or two...I'm watching all your videos now and enjoying them...keep them coming! Much appreciated.

    Just discovered your channel. What is the maintenance schedule for your Cummins engine for oil and fuel filters, transmission etc? How much DEF does the Engine use? What is your typical MPG? What is your typical range with a 50 mile reserve? Can you use smaller fuel stops vs truck stops since diesels is more expensive at truck stops? Where do you get your Breeze surface when on the road? How much out of level can the site be before the air suspension won’t level? Are hydraulic leveling jacks better? How do you find the power of this smaller Cummins with your TOAD? Did you get the fridge problem resolved? Have you tried dry camping and does the fridge run down your batteries? Thanks

    • @rvamericayall
      @rvamericayall  Před 5 lety

      Hi! Welcome to our channel! We’ve only had our Breeze for a short time, so many of the answers to your questions are yet to be determined for us. Typical MPG for us so far has been running at about 9mpg towing our ‘99 Jeep Wrangler and running the generator to run both of the roof air conditioners. You can use smaller fuel stops as long as you can get around and there is not a low clearance. We use our leveling blocks if our site has more than about 6 inches slope change. The fridge seems to be working better. We have not dry camped.

    Love your videos! We just sold our 24' sprinter class C which we loved but are growing out of. We've had a 40" diesel pusher in the past and they were just too darn big. We like the 33AA Tiffin Red but they are still 35'2". Looking seriously at the Breeze - shorter, less wide, and less tall, appeals to us. But there is always a trade-off and in this case it's the odd refrigerator placement. Is it an issue, especially with the tv and fireplace right there, and does it hinder working in the kitchen area? Thank you again!

The cutting board was left with the coach by the previous owners, so we’re not sure where they got the feet. We will try to find a maker’s mark on them next time we’re in the RV. Hi Lee! Glad you enjoyed it. We haven’t been in that situation yet, but yes... that would definitely be possible. Even with all slides in to travel we have access to everything except the drawers facing the foot of the bed. And we have to climb over the bed to get to the back closet. But, we can even lift the bed to access the storage under it with the slides in. If we were going to camp with one side retracted, we would extend the slides on the driver slide so that we could have full access to everything in the bedroom. But yes, it’s not only possible, it really would not be a problem at all.
