I love these videos Kevin! Thanks for all the extremely helpful tips! You're not only one of the best in the business as far as anglers, but you're a great person! Still mad I forgot to pick up the goldmember when I was at Bass Pro last weekend!

I have a personal friend that has won national and regional crappie tournaments. He says color doesn’t matter. I tend to believe color does matter.

High contrast is more important in turbid water. Something like black, purple, or blue. A yellow or chartreuse will basically disappear in turbid water.

Chartreuse is my go to color. Anything I buy for the first time I buy chartreuse or neon pink.

Tie a double jig rig with different colors and see what gets bit. All kinds of theories and all independent for everyone. Kinda crazy. Something to think about though. Maybe certain prefer certain colors themselves?

I've never really caught a ton of crappie on any of the bobby garland I have always had to keep changing out lures so much I just went back to fishing live bait.

I use the basspro version n kill them when the crappie are in(under a bobber about 2 ft).. I usually keep one on a pole from spring till mid summer.. the bass like them too after the crappie are done. They can be picky fucks tho.. they only really like a certain color in my water, and sometimes ya have to fuck w the retrieve. They really seem to like the Bait doing a pendulum swing action... this also works while fishing under boats in a marina w out a bobber.

The thing I had a question about is, when you switch to a bright vibrant, off-putting color bait in dirty water and the fish can see it, but natural bait fish cannot change their colors in different water tones, so wouldnt a bright vibrant bait spook fish in any water clarity?
