I know it's been a long time, but the theme of the first two podcasts (I'm seeing them 3 years later), is still current. Many great streamers find swatt at home because some asshole thinks he is God, playing with their life, we all know that anywhere in the world, swatt doesn't go there with taisers ... it goes there with guns blazing, breaking through doors, at the risk of killing someone, and we know that has happened in the past. Being friendly and being friends are two very different things. A person can be friendly even with the supermarket cashier, whom he only sees when he goes shopping at a given supermarket, and not be friends with him. The fact that people feel entitled to be friends with people on the internet is annoying.
Saw the title and was fascinatied. Never heard of parasocial relationship till now but its really great. Good example of this is on Tiktok live. Same with the bits and its scary noticing now the parasocial relationship that happens with it.
I can feel my brain expanding while I'm listening to them discussing twitch streamers to parasocial relationships
I enjoyed the conversation best podcast I have watched in ages , most are just ram sacked will shit but the wpe ones mostly talk about actual topics and makes people aware about certain things . This was worth the hour that I took out my day keep it up 👍
This is a really interesting topic to choose. I give you credit as you've done your research, although parasocial relationships can occur in reverse - the streamer becoming 'attached' to a follower or someone in their mod team. I can't wait to see what else you've got lined up.

I've watched this podcast a couple of times now and I always learn something that I didn't catch in a previous watch. It's a good refresher on the subjects being discussed which are very important to be brought to light. Keep up the great work guys! 👏

They are some pretty serious topics but also funny presented and discussed, and i love listening to you Guys while i am driving, cleaning my house or cooking ect. Keep going Guys, you are awesome! (I know it was only two episodes so far but i really liked them.)

Loving what I’m learning from these podcasts
The podcast is good. I enjoy and laugh at the jokes and what not and can listen to the quote on quote advice and educational parts. While you got to take what they all say (especially jake) with a pinch of salt they actually speak about interesting matters regarding different platforms and unlike other podcasts it doesn't sound like total bollocks. Well anyway keep up the good work because I enjoy the conversation and content.

When I was really ill I think I did parasocal a little but as I got better physically and emotionally I stopped, I didn't realise there was a name for it.
I'll pay for a day gaming with you guy's, i think other people would do it too and it would be content see other people interact with all of you >xD

I do want to say as much as your talking about the problem with viewers having a non-intimate relationship. (sorry my memory is horrible so I dont remember what its called) I don't send money nor do I enough money. But I do watch your videos or other Streamers/CZcamsrs an I'll just send a private message to you or whoever I'm watching (obviously over social media) an let you know on what your videos do an how they make me feel.
