Yesterday night i watched Ankahi Daastans and after Manav Kaul performance i really impressed by his acting again... And then i thought that i must see his interview. And then I came here, when this interview started i thought i saw it only 10-15 mint bcz its too late now due to sunday night and i wake up early tomorrow but this interview is unbelievable and finished whole interview. Ultimate person and his journey is seriously mind-blowing
Would suggest you read his books, Antima specifically. It is a MASTERPIECE.

मैं कभी-कभी सोचता हूँ, मुझमें और गाय में कितना फ़र्क़ है। खासकर उस गाय में जिसने दूध देना बंद कर दिया है। बुढ़ापा गाय हो जाने जैसा है। गाय जो कुछ भी खा लेती है, बिना किसी को परेशान किए ज़िंदा रहती है। आपको गायों से और बूढ़ों से बहुत परेशानी नहीं होती। बेचारी गाय और बेचारा बूढ़ा। घर में इंसानों के बीच जानवर जैसा महसूस होता था तो मैंने तय कि जब गाय जैसा ही जीना है, तो गायों के बीच में ही रहो। तो मैं यहाँ वृद्धाश्रम आ गया।

This is the best one so far. Manav kaul's stories were sweet and also intense. Playfulness of a child with depth of a philosopher. Credit to nilesh mishra for creating this format where artists can be so candid and comfortable.

Just finished watching Ajeeb daastaans on Netflix. And How charming is Manav Kaul in Ankahee. The way he expressed himself through sign language, his vulnerability, his eyes when he said, " You managed to lie through your eyes" was heart breaking ❤️
Also he looks really cute with those glasses in the film. Cute in a way that, me being a 26 yr old, want to date someone like him, whatever may be the age difference.🤭
