Putting the CHAIN back on a ROLLER BLIND - WITHOUT taking it apart fully.

- here i have another roller blind video, the cord has come off the blackout blind and it happened to have a joiner bit in the cord, I think its called a safety breakaway connector. so i decided to put the chain back on the roller blind without taking the mechanism apart this time. because i was able to feed the cord back through the blind with ease, and i had the blind back up and working in no time.
to fix the roller blind i decided to take it off the wall so that i could remove the end and fix it much easier as i thought the weight of the rollerblind would make it hard work to fix if it was all still in situe. as it went it was a easy roller blind fix in the end.
IMPORTANT : the blind and cord should be installed correctly and in accordance to the guidance, legislations and the manufacture instructions, also can be seen on the GOV UK website, the cords/string/chain ect.. on blinds pose a strangulation risk especially to children. so it is important they are fitted safely, correctly and kept out of reach of children.

Lifesaver mate. I had the chain snap while I was fitting a blind. Bagged it, pulled the chain out of the other box because I was fitting 2 blinds, and now I can fix this one and get the other one set up. Cheers!
Brilliant, that worked!! Saved me from having to buy a new one and all the hassle that entails. Thank you!!

Lifesaver. Thank you
Take the blind off the window, remove both ends, reverse the end with no chain and stick it in the back of the end with the chain, connecting the octagonal bits, then the mechanism moves freely.
Oh bummer my cord doesnt have that :/
