My husband is an electrician, he's done a lot of work in both Hunting Valley and Gates Mills. I would always ask him about the homes he worked in.
I love Gates Mills!
Most Cleveland West siders have never heard of Hunting Valley. If they only knew.
I grew on the West side, and was ignorant myself at one time to the east/west side difference.
They could have used better notable people, but I understand they want to use mainstream names that video watchers are familiar with.
LMK your thoughts please!
The East Side is actual wealth. The facade of wealth you see on the West side is over 90% credit card wealth
Fred Lennon owner of Swagelok / CFC Lived in hunting Valley. I once had a gates mills address. Didn't know it was so prestigious. Actually I received mail there for about a year while I was moving back to NY State.
very good video. excellent comments and images, with good coverage of the history !
Old money defined. Legacy rich in these towns.
Must be why years ago Gates Mills and Chagrin Falls were designated “Rate Centers” for Ohio Bell. Cheaper calling to other telephone exchanges back when that mattered.
Except for the Vogue comments this video was a 10 I absolutely love it
must be nice to come from these well to do families. I will never probably know anything about that in my bodies lifetime.
Way out of my price range. Nice little towns.
Most of the houses shown look like tacky McMansions.
Gates Mills information was mostly incorrect. Very sad and I corrected my thumbs up to just the opposite. Next time, do more research.
Jim...oh my goodness! Remember me from the Gates Mills Players? Will never forget your log cabin property! I am now near GM.
Oops....this is me, Linda S.
You move to Gates Mills or Hunting Valley when you want to be somebody....you move to Waite Hill when you ARE somebody.
You sure don’t sound like a Clevelander
Right I’m trying to figure out the choosing of… an… Australian… accent… for this American video.
Why do you even have to talk about diversity why is race always a part of something it's ridiculous and I stopped watching
'diversity' has, and will further destroy everything your robot-voice videos feature.
Yup . Its coming to a town near you SOON.
Take a look at Euclid avenue and Millionaires row, if it happened there it will happen everywhere unless we forcefully stop it. Defunding the police only serves to make sure it happens.
And someone needs to pull the batteries out of the robots
Furthermore, the current and prolific business practices that cause this phenominon to occur is being utilized by the very people that live in places like Millionares row, hunting valley, gates mills, etc. Talk about IRONY
@@jessewoody5772billionaires shipped jobs and futures offshore. Tricle down trickle down vadoo economics of the neoconservative neoliberal dilusions.
I knew i would find comments like these on this video! 😏
Nothing is wrong with diversity, unless you are easily intimidated.
