If your mind is already blown by the existence of naturally carbonated water, you should definitely look up the Leuze pool in Germany where you can swim in carbonated water. It's not the only one but the one with the strongest carbonation as far as I know

I googled and it seems to be a german/european thing. In germany, there are roughly 800 naturally carbonated springs.

I started drinking sparkling water when my kids were young because it was the only thing they hated so I didn't have to share. My toddler grandson now loves it.👍🏿

When my niece was a toddler she'd go up to my dad when he was drinking Mendota Springs lemon water, take a sip and make a face. Few minutes later she'd go back again 😂

I tried the same thing when my kids were young but I still can't stand it!! Now my grown son is trying to get me to drink it but I just do not get what you all love so much...especially Link! But our differences are what make life great!
@@janinelemonides3705 I like Spindrift brand. They're lightly flavored with real fruit and don't have that typical sparkling water flavor like LaCroix etc.

Blindfolded, someone else holding the container and drink through a straw. That's the only way to do a blind test without pouring it.

@@Mgkatie19xx sparkling water isn’t really a substitute for regular water. It is more of a substitute for soda. If you are someone who likes the carbonation of soda, but you don’t want the sugar, then you may go for carbonated water because it’s a healthier option.

I don't get the obsession with carbonation. I like soda just fine but I like it for the taste, I can't fathom drinking it for the *bubbles* or drinking carbonated WATER to get that fizzy feel with no taste... I would rather drink a flat or uncabonated flavored drink or a plain water then a carbonated water .
I agree. I can't stand carbonated drinks that have gone flat, but I would rather a never carbonated drink or plain water over sparkling water. I cannot stand stuff like LaCroix because it's flavorless. It tastes like super watered down, unsweetened soda. And plain sparkling water has a weird, oddly salty taste to it. I love plain, purified water, but not sparkling water.

I’m the opposite. The flavor of soda is way too strong and sweet for me but I love the bubbles! The idea of drinking flat soda is... very not good to me. Lol!

Carbonated stuff gets flatter the moment you pour it into a glass/cup, because the pouring and splashing process accelerates the reaction. That's the real problem.
They have a contraption that is literally for drinks so they don't know what they are drinking. Why didn't they just use that?? Or just keep it in it's original container and have someone hold it and use straws??

Hiiii! i'm from Italy and here "carbonated" water is the normal bottled water you can buy at the store (if you like it of course, there's also the non sparkling kind) because there's so many springs where sparkling water just comes naturally, thanks to the Alps and The Apennines. For us carbonated beverages are sprite, coca cola etc. Love you and love my fellows mythical beasts!

I stopped drinking soft drinks 2years ago. I drink about 4 Topo Chicos a day. Put a little bit of lime or lemon w/a dash of salt, very refreshing
