Final part of the game, facing against the Time Eater. I hope you guys enjoyed the videos and everything, even though they came a bit slow, and I apologize for that. I really enjoyed this game and thought that SEGA did a great job on this. Until next time.

Maybe Sonic says "Ah yeah, this is happening!" at the beginning of SA1 because it's actually Classic Sonic finally mastering the homing attack.

The Time Eater: The first boss in existence that can create portals just for its own detachable arms' convenience. Also, is it just me, or is Shadow the only character that actually gives out USEFUL information instead of being a total Omochao in this fight?
Well, I believe Janemba already has the whole punching through dimensions thing started, but detatching his own limb? Time Eater wins there.

This boss is so annoying. I can"t ever get rings even if they're right infront of me. Also love how when everyone else dashes they get to him easy for me he runs across the galaxy.

The *Time Eater* music wasn't meant to sound joyous. It was meant to sound ominous, dark, and fearsome, seeing as though this was one of the darker & more mysterious bosses.

When is Eggman gonna get the hint that there are some things man was never meant to tamper with? In Sonic Adventure, he tried to use Chaos to wipe out Station Square. That scheme failed miserably when Chaos turned on him. His attempt to make use of Solaris in Sonic 06(I know that game should never be mentioned but if I hadn't done it, someone else would have) only to get duped, ultimately leading everything pertaining to that game's story becoming irrelevant when Elise blew out the flame of Solaris. When he tried to make use of Dark Gaia in Sonic Unleashed, he ended up having a repeat of his mistake with Chaos by getting sent flying onto the horizon. Sonic Colors brought Eggman back to his roots of "animal cruelty" by trying to use the Wisps to power up a machine only to have that scheme blow up in his face when Sonic tapped into all the color powers, including the artificially created "Frenzy" attack. That last one led to Sonic using a one time move called "Final Color Blaster". One of these days, Eggman's gonna mess with the wrong entity/ancient power and it's gonna get him killed.

I don't see the problem with that last one. He enslaved an entire race of species and used their powers for his own benefit. I think the only problem here is he didn't use their full potential, and he didn't have any counter measurements against Sonic.
Just because someone else can use the same resources just as effectively doesn't mean that it's a bad idea to use those resources.
Apparently not, he wielded the Phantom Ruby and it turned out alright.

This boss is so bad. Switching does not affect whether or not you catch up, and there's no clear indication of what to do or if you're even damaging the boss. I hate it.

SG wasn't a very difficult game either way.
Hate it all you want everyone, but Sega worked hard on this! Maybe they realized that the button mashing for this boss was a mistake but they didn't have time since they started working on coding Sonic Lost World. That means that there wasn't enough time for them to fix it. And this is true for any sonic game currently in development. I actually liked the music and I understand that you may like dark Gaia's music and boss or other final bosses better! That doesn't mean you have to like it. Personally, I liked the music and I don't like the button mashing but at least it was something! Even final bosses in user levels in Super Mario Maker are EVEN WORSE THAN BUTTON MASHING!!!!!

One of my favorite STH final bosses to date.
This boss is the first boss in a sonic game where the music isn't epic. All the final bosses in the modern Sonic games had awesome music:
Adventure: Open your Heart
Adventure 2: Live and Learn
Black Knight: With me
Unleashed: Endless Possibility
Colors: Reach for the Stars
Yet this boss has some generic sounding music. Even the themes in the classic games were better.

+Perci the Bandicoot The American manual says that, but apparently the real history behind it is that Sonic developed it one day after "doing a somersault while running." (could not make this shit up if I tried) Tails managed to immitate that and wanted to join Sonic on his journey. As long as he could manage to keep up, Sonic was fine with that.
Tails has been out of the action for a while, now. I think he's realized that Sonic's the one that will end up saving the day, so there's no real need for him to help out on the field anymore.

In case anyone is wondering, the easiest way to get the Can't Touch This achievement/trophy is to never switch to 2-D mode. It is a lot easier to dodge the Time Eater's attacks if you you have more than two ways to move around.

I feel Sonic Generations was a love letter to all the Sonic fans. It includes levels from classic Sonic games to modern Sonic games. All I got to say is thank you to Sega/Sonic Team for an amazing game 😊

Yeah Dark Gaia was an epic final boss, but Time Eater was a lot more powerful than Dark Gaia. Yeah Dark Gaia had power of an entire planet, but Time Eater can mess with time and space!

I love the music of Seaside Hill from Sonic Heroes. It's devastating that Classic Sonic never talked. Metal Sonic didn't reprise to help both Classic Eggman and Modern Eggman use the Time Eater to annihilate Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic.
Eggman seriously needs to stop tamering with dangerous entities and nearly ending the world all for some stupid empire he doesn't even need.
