You can fire this thing about 60+ rpm. trick is pull lever down then palm slam the back loader it will retract the lever when you slam it. Then you can immediately fire. If your young enough with good dexterity you can get off 2 rounds a second.
After watching you I took mine apart. All plastic and the spring was hard to get back in as it is pretty pre-loaded before cocking. Managed not to lose those detents for the safety and bb tray.

I just watched Alaska Guy with his Daisy 188 and he said the same thing. His did not make it through a cardboard box.
I didn't know the model 188 shoots pellets. I'll try it with mine
